You know that list, the one from which you choose which class you play as?
You see how it's divided into sections, and how heavy is on the "defensive" list?
STOP UBERING THE FAT BASTARD OFFENSIVELY AND GIVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO CAN MOVE
You know, those are just guidelines. Ãœber Heavies and sometimes regular Heavies can be excellent offense. A good Engineer or Demoman can be offense too and Soldier and Pyro makes great defense. Actually, I'd say that Pyro is better at defense than offense.

Scout, listed as Offensive, terrible Uber target
Demoman listed as Defense, Situational Uber target.
Soldier listed as Offensive, Situational Uber target.
Uber Heavies are also situational, ubering the fat fuck straight out of say DB 2-1, bad idea, ubering him as you round the corner to DB 2-2 good idea, (provided ofc, there is 1 or less sentries)
So being a soldier became much more fun when I fixed my interp settings. I really am terrible at multiplayer FPS's, though. I'm just less bad than most.
Ubered pyros are the most murderous class if they're not facing SGs or stickies or air blasts. Heavies are great for ambush-ubering onto points. Demomen are... well, death machines to structures. Soldiers aren't always so hot because when they could be because once they've expended their rockets they're no longer at their best.

I think it's best to use Kritzkrieg on a soldier when he does get ubered. Building destruction ubers should be for demomen/heavies.
I play soldier a lot, and I'll be the first one to admit that when I have a medic offer to uber me, I tell him to look for a better candidate first.

I can't think of how that could be any use, unless the sniper is really crappy and can only make body shots. In which case, krubering a sniper and having them bodyshot a bunch of people would be useful, but compared to other classes probably a waste?
If it's any consolation I almost feel guilty about that. I can just picture you lining up the shot and realising that you're already dead.

as a pyro I love setting snipers on fire with the flaregun just as they go to take a shot. Makes me feel like I'm Johnny Knoxville in that part of jackass where he's using the air horn every time that golfer starts his backswing.
A traintrack leading right to the entrance of a safe containing ample amounts of argent.
Someone get the designers on the line, I need to buff Fort Knox
I know! I saw this one custom map were the enemies had built their forts literally across a bridge from each other. Stupid level designers.
Marty every time I think you can't get any dafter you prove me utterly wrong. It's a little sad because Duld tries so hard and yet he's Einstein compared to you

37-6 with 30 headshots
Its why he hates pyros
Burn em to the ground I say!
The annoying thing was I was actually starting to play well as sniper for some odd, odd reason.

is it a british thing or something?
argent: a metal tincture used in heraldry to give a silvery appearance
the explosion was explodey, not silvery.
The things I know!
silver
silver is Ag on periodic table
etc
I admire anyone who takes the time to set up custom animations like that for a map.
It's pretty amazing how frustrating the process is.

So they stole the premise of the Futurama xmas episodes and added Fran Drescher? ehhhhhh
He's not a robot! It's different.

Well you have to load the safe some how, and those lazy RED fuckers aren't going to do it by hand.
I see nothing unusual there.
