I've been studying abroad this semester. While the experience has been awesome, it has cut me off from the world of gaming since mid-August. I have been jonesing to get my hands on a gamepad or my gaming rig's setup and shoot some pixels in their faces, but I've had to tide myself with nothing but webgames and emulators on this laptop. Which leads me to wonder: What's come out in that time that's been pretty kick-ass?
I get back in a week or so, and will likely be coming into a decent sum of money come Christmas time. There are a few I know I'll be getting(Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 because I have loved what I've seen so far), but I was hoping some of the fine folk here would be so kind as to point out any thing else on the 360 or a PC that might have been quite enjoyable. RPG, RTS, FPS - Hell, I'll even try out the 4x games, even though I get curb-stomped by most AI's embarassingly quickly. Help me make up for lost time, folks.
