So if the criteria for Wii Shop games is how long ago they were released, what is it for DS and Wii games? Mario Kart DS and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time were released around the same time, but Partners in Time isn't eligible while Mario Kart is.

So I transferred my MyNintendo account, twice, which said that all my registered games would be transferred, tried logging in who knows how many times, confirmed my e-mail, finally logged in only to find out I have zero coins, and the first I click on logs me out. What happens when I try to log back in?

You won't have coins for earlier shit quite yet. You can check under Earn Coins and there may be some listed there with surveys to fill out, or there may be a box to put in another PIN (which won't work), or there may be nothing.

Your Account tab should list all your shit...

Basically it's fucked right now.. give it some time.

Man, guys, Nintendo is a big company, and this is clearly a big project. It's not going to go away overnight. I highly advise y'all to just walk away for a few days or a week. Let other folks bang their heads against a hammered website to work out the kinks. We can come back in a bit and everything'll work. :P

It takes time to get your games transferred. I signed up this morning and only now are they starting to appear. Also, I get more login errors on IE than I do Firefox.

Well, the website is probably getting SLAMMED right now (by people like us) so, like it's been said earlier, just give it some time. Easy for me, since there's nothing there that's really stoking my interest, but it looked like all the surveys expire sometime in 2010. We've got plenty of time.

I know they are having issues right now, but maybe someone can answer my question. I tried logging in with my old My Nintendo account, because it said there was an easy transition (bullshit). It said I had to register with the same email. Well, I have like 6 email accounts, and I don't remember which one I used on My Nintendo. So I registered an email that probably wasn't my old one. Is there an option, after creating a Club Nintendo account, to then link the old My Nintendo account, even if they are separate email addresses? I had 50+ games registered and hope to get something out of that.

Click the register button.

When it asks for your e-mail, it cross-checks the database to see if it's been registered before. It will tell you when you enter it that it found your account and simply asks for the account password (or to change it). If it doesn't find it, it will ask you to create a new account.

Simply keep entering your e-mail as each one you think it might be until it finds it.

It really is a simple transition, it just takes a while for it to copy the stuff in the database over since it's being slammed.

During the registration process, the second section should be an email entry; if you enter a My Nintendo account email, the 3rd section should specify that this is a My Nintendo account and allow you to transfer or selected a new account.

Thanks, I was able to find the right email.

Question is now, since it's so slammed, I can't really get in to check: Can I delete the account I made with the wrong email? I have two accounts now, the one that was transferred from My Nintendo, and the one I did before that which is a fresh start, and something I don't want.

It won't allow me to re-register my My Nintendo account because it won't allow the email I used to sign up for My Nintendo. Apparently it is an invalid email because I have an underscore before the @ in my email (****_@hotmail.com) despite being completely valid for all those years of registering my stuff for no reason.

I'm using IE, and as soon as I posted that, it totally shit the bed. I've done my "Mario Strikers Charged" survey 3 times now, and now it says I have 0 coins for it, but my total coins is 50 higher than it used to be. I guess if it starts to work, keep it to yourself, hah.

It tells me that my transfer process was completed successfully and then I can't log in. Works just as well in IE as Firefox.

I love my copy of Tingle's Balloon Fight. In fact, you guys can thank me for that. I waited and waited and waited before finally going for it and getting the game, then Nintendo makes the announcement about this a couple of months later. Clearly, they were waiting to spite me.

Oh well. I came, I saw, I dominated. I wish the options were in English, so I had a better idea of what I was doing, but if they do release it here, I'm sure an eventual FAQ or discussion with an owner will make it clear.

So I got my old My Nintendo account to transfer to Club Nintendo. I had 4 things already registered (GBASP, GCN, Mario & Luigi (GBA), and Phantom Hourglass). I guess our old Gamecube and Gameboy Advance codes are worthless, as there was no option for me to earn coins for M&L, only LOZPH.

I managed to get the coins for PH and registered/got coins for Animal Crossing DS before the site logged me out and went back to refusing my login info. At this rate, I'll have all my games registered some time in January.
