I wonder if that package is for the amount of coins earned, games registered, or maybe only for those who actually put some real thought and input into their answers. I wonder...
That's lame. Oh well. Can we still actually register stuff after the Club Nintendo year is over?
As long as you save the registration code, yeah
I figured that was the case.
FYI - for some games there is a point where they will stop accepting it. I once forgot to register Mario vs. DK2 and when I did register it I got a message to the effect of "Thanks for registering but we are no longer doing surveys for this game" (or something) and I got no coins.

I don't know... I tried to put real feedback, at least when I had it. But with as many people as they must have filling those out, how do they sort through that to say "person X has always provided meaningful feedback"?
I always fill out the surveys truthfully. I hope I get the package (or rather it gets sent to my parents' address since I'm living in Korea currently). I love random free stuff.

Oh yeah? Well, I gave unhelpful, minimal answers on everything and they sent me four of them.
My brother's mother's cousin also is friends with the President of Nintendo (his name is Kaz Hirai, you probably don't know him), and he is sending me their new console with Super Mario Galaxy 3. 8-)

How'd you change it? I've been getting an "unavailable due to site maintenance" message for at least 2 days now

Yay, I got my first reward ever. I had over 1300 points and I spent some on that new reversible pouch. Got a red one for my blue 3DS, it's awesome as hell.
Where do you see this supposed coins 2-year expiring thing?
In the FAQ on there it says there is an expiry date listed near some of the coins? But I don't see that anywhere
I only see expiry dates to do post-play surveys to get MORE coins.
Why are my Coins listed with an expiration date?
Unredeemed Coins will expire two (2) full Club Nintendo years (July 1 - June 30), plus whatever is left in the current Club Nintendo year, after they are earned. Example: Coins earned in March 2009 would not expire until June 30, 2011.
Following the 2 years + remainder of current year rule for coin expiration, the coins I earned 12/2008 expire June 30th 2011 (I get the partial year to July 1st 2009, then two full years - July '09 - June '10, July '10 - June '11.)
They started the program back in Fall 2008, so this June 30th will be the first time any coins could expire. Simply put, any unused coins you added between Fall 2008 and June 30th 2009 are going to expire this June.
So....we HAVE to use the coins on something and can't save em? Thats pretty weak Nintendo. I know one day you will have an awesome product for sale that will cost 10,000 coins and will make people buy more games just for the damn codes.

I still say that line is a load of crap. The database overhead to track when each and every coin would expire makes it not worth it. I really, really doubt they will expire.
I'm not seeing any expiration yet, maybe it's just if your coins are older (mine have been mostly earned this year). Is that all of your coins, or just a chunk of them?
I'm going through and doing some older surveys I had stocked up. I got 30 coins for Pokemon Diamond but only 10 for Hotel Dusk and Endless Ocean. They may have reduced the coin payout on older products, which would suck. I'll see what I can get for the rest of my surveys...
EDIT: Maybe I'm just dumb, these have been just post play surveys, not registration. 10 is what you get for them.
I'm sure this has been talked about, but I was hoping for the reversible pouches to come back in stock and I don't seem them yet: Does that silver DS Lite case fit the 3DS at all? The dimensions reported seem to indicate that it would, but has anyone tried it out?

I have 80 coins expiring. Not enough to buy anything, but enough that I'd rather not waste them. What the fuck, Nintendo? Why would you make them expire?

I have 510 coins expiring, and nothing I really want/need right now. I guess I'll wait up until the last minute to see if any new rewards are added then spend them.
I just decided the hell with it, and grabbed the two DS game and watch collections a few months ago. Nothing else really captured my attention, so I took the thing that would at least look neat on my shelf. I haven't really been on the site since then, though, as the only Wii games I've bought in the last 6 months were Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Mario All Stars.
If the SNES controller does show up now, I will be choked.

Sooo yeah people are starting to recieve this package.
Nobody knows what you have to do to earn it:
It contains:
A Wii RemotePlus, Wii Play, some Mii Masks, a pizza gift card, etc.
So yeah, we should figure this out.

Also want to assume thats what people who already have achieved platinum status receive.
Hmmm, I wonder. Some games I did put in real thoughts and suggestions, but for other games I didn't really care about I just put silliness.
I wonder though.

So if you're not seeing them either, maybe it's not implemented yet. But good call on June being the first time any will be expiring.
Anyone willing to call their bluff and not spend coins?
2070 points expiring in June

Based on This size comparison of the systems, I would think it would fit the 3ds. The ds lite and 3ds seem to be very close in size.
Gee would America ever get anything like that? It seems like very other territory BUT America has a huge lineup of prize options.
We'd like to remind you that you have some Club Nintendo Coins expiring on 6/30/11.*
Once these Coins have expired, they are no longer available to you to redeem for Rewards, so check out the Rewards Catalog and place your order today!
