Finally was able to get in and register stuff. I have 810 points. Is the Game & Watch Collection worth getting?

My DS and Wii titles only netted me 400 coins. Only one of my 20 or so VC/WW games are on that list, so I'm not gonna go through the bother to get 10 more points. At the rate Nintendo is releasing Wii/DS games I want, it may be 2010 before I have enough points to get anything cool.

I think G&W is the best option from what's currently listed, but I'm waiting to see if there's any end-of-the-year goodies in June and if not then I'll spend some points. They haven't said if we'll get the uber-items like Japan's Club N but I'd recommend waiting it out, you might need those 800 points for an SNES classic controller or Tingle's Balloon Fighter DS.

Plus there's no damage done waiting 'til June since points are good for 2 years.

    I feel the same.

Question. I have signed in, connected my account, but now before I get to check anything, it says I have to wait for an e-mail from Nintendo. It's been 12 hours since it first said that and I've got nothing. Have you guys been through this step?

If I already registered the games that the system supports (for points), will that get me some points? Or am I SOL if I already registered them on My Nintendo?

I have the Wii system, Wario Ware SM, Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Pokémon Battle Revolution for Wii. Plus a bunch of DS games which I registered already.

Excellent, now I just have to wait until the server gets stable.

Not that I'm interested in anything that is available, but there could be something in the future that I'd want. Does anyone else think that the Game & Watch Collection costs too many coins for having only three games?

I got in and did all but one survey (I need to check the list of old games against my collection, I think I'm missing some stuff) and now I can't log in again. I'm glad coins don't expire at June 30th because I don't think I can accumulate that many coins in a year. I really hope I can hit platinum status though.

EDIT: Got in to do the last survey, I now have 270 coins. :(

Seriously. It's a free gift shipped to you. It'd be different if we were paying $800 for 800 points.. but don't forget you got 16 Wii games for those 800 points, and you can grab the DS game as a free gift.

On the other hand, I'm gonna hold out and see what's available a little later. I wouldn't get much use out of the DS game or anything there for that matter. Controllers? Posters? Soundtracks? Stickers? A fucking LINK AND EPONA STATUE?? I want to see this stuff on there.

Also, the GBA 'Game & Watch Gallery' games. Those were awesome.

They should make a new one... :|

Finally was able to get in and got my surveys done and registered everything I forgot about. 990 points. :D

I think I'm gonna hold off on things until more rewards come up as well. Interested to see what the elite reward is for this year, though.

If it's not worth it, it's not worth it on potential. As of now, a piece of real software is worth it compared to game holders and cards, IMO.

I will hold out until we get something like a soundtrack or the screaming Rangers game.

I recently bought Game & Watch Gallery Advance in order to complete my Zelda collection with the Zelda G&W that comes with it, so I can play most of the G&W games that came out on my GBA or DS.

But I'm not playing to win 1000 points in each game and version for getting to play Zelda. At least not any time soon, as I don't have enough patience.

Alrighty, all my surveys taken. I'm at 680 Coins.

Now, to decide whether I want to grab something now, or wait for the possibility of the premium gifts.

About the only thing I see that I'd want is the Mario Stylus Set/Game Holder.

The Game & Watch collection is nice as a collectible but I wouldn't ever play the thing. The hanafuda cards are nice, but I wish I could see them closer up. Don't need a case or the game rack. As I have a clear plastic case on my DS and the rack wouldn't hold nearly as many games as I actually have.

I can't fucking login or do anything. logging says

"Welcome to Club Nintendo. Transferring your My Nintendo account to Club Nintendo is easy, but we may need some additional information to complete the process. Please click "Join Club Nintendo Now" to continue. NOTE: Make sure to provide the email address associated to your My Nintendo account to successfully transfer your account."

And then I do (and have done several times) the "join club nintendo" link - where it detects that I already have an account, and says

    "Transfer Complete!
    Transfer Complete!
Your My Nintendo account communications preferences and registered products have been transferred to your new Club Nintendo account."

but then nothing actually happens. I still can't login. No emails are sent to me, nothing.
