So NA finally has a Club Nintendo: register crap to get free crap
Posts
Plus there's no damage done waiting 'til June since points are good for 2 years.
I feel the same.
In the end, I got 560 coins.
Switch - SW-3699-5063-5018
I have the Wii system, Wario Ware SM, Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Pokémon Battle Revolution for Wii. Plus a bunch of DS games which I registered already.
I had one qualifying game already registered via My Nintendo. Once I moved to Club Nintendo, the survey was already waiting to be taken, and I got the coins for it.
EDIT: Looked at the FAQ and you can only get coins from these Wii shop channel games:
I don't own any of these. Nuts.
Excellent, now I just have to wait until the server gets stable.
Not that I'm interested in anything that is available, but there could be something in the future that I'd want. Does anyone else think that the Game & Watch Collection costs too many coins for having only three games?
Its the only thing that I had previously registered, but do not have the option to take a survey for...
I don't know for sure but I thought the games were remade in a more modern style and it also includes the games as they originally looked, plus a few other features.
burp
I'm pretty sure they only have those three games in their original format and an alarm clock feature.

You're right, I must've been thinking of stuff like the Balloon Fight remake.
What are you talking about? It's free, I didn't buy Wii and DS games in order to get it. I think that's a pretty good deal.
EDIT: Got in to do the last survey, I now have 270 coins.
Seriously. It's a free gift shipped to you. It'd be different if we were paying $800 for 800 points.. but don't forget you got 16 Wii games for those 800 points, and you can grab the DS game as a free gift.
On the other hand, I'm gonna hold out and see what's available a little later. I wouldn't get much use out of the DS game or anything there for that matter. Controllers? Posters? Soundtracks? Stickers? A fucking LINK AND EPONA STATUE?? I want to see this stuff on there.
Also, the GBA 'Game & Watch Gallery' games. Those were awesome.
They should make a new one...
Finally was able to get in and got my surveys done and registered everything I forgot about. 990 points.
I think I'm gonna hold off on things until more rewards come up as well. Interested to see what the elite reward is for this year, though.
If it's not worth it, it's not worth it on potential. As of now, a piece of real software is worth it compared to game holders and cards, IMO.
I recently bought Game & Watch Gallery Advance in order to complete my Zelda collection with the Zelda G&W that comes with it, so I can play most of the G&W games that came out on my GBA or DS.
But I'm not playing to win 1000 points in each game and version for getting to play Zelda. At least not any time soon, as I don't have enough patience.

Now, to decide whether I want to grab something now, or wait for the possibility of the premium gifts.
I'd hate to be platinum status, and then not have any coins with which to get the premium gifts.

The Game & Watch collection is nice as a collectible but I wouldn't ever play the thing. The hanafuda cards are nice, but I wish I could see them closer up. Don't need a case or the game rack. As I have a clear plastic case on my DS and the rack wouldn't hold nearly as many games as I actually have.

Also look at this asshole

Oh...my...god.
They're so beautiful.
I'd probably end up putting them all on a big piece of cardboard and framing them or something.
Any recommendation on how I'd do that?

That was funny. He just died once and turned the game off, then got another drink.
Similar to me sometimes, except I don't drink alcohol.
"Welcome to Club Nintendo. Transferring your My Nintendo account to Club Nintendo is easy, but we may need some additional information to complete the process. Please click "Join Club Nintendo Now" to continue. NOTE: Make sure to provide the email address associated to your My Nintendo account to successfully transfer your account."
And then I do (and have done several times) the "join club nintendo" link - where it detects that I already have an account, and says
"Transfer Complete!
Transfer Complete!
Your My Nintendo account communications preferences and registered products have been transferred to your new Club Nintendo account."
but then nothing actually happens. I still can't login. No emails are sent to me, nothing.
edit: somehow trying for the 40th time (going back and forth between different browsers) I just got in with IE
Hm, I think I chose wisely! The cards don't really sound like paper. Are they made of plastic or some really hard cardstock?
I still want the Game and Watch. I just need to find like 400 coins in the couch or something.

Fruit: Peaches, perhaps coconuts soon too!
bawwwww
I ask because I dont have most of my old registration cards.
It'll carry over as long as you still have the old login. It may take a day to process, so don't freak out. Just be patient.

Anyone see a link to a "what games can be registered list" ? they used to have one on mynintendo. then it went away....
