There were few things more unsettling to me than my realization that there is this group of kids, this younger generation that precedes my own.
Does this just keep getting worse as you get older?

I remember one of these ancient cartoons ended with Bugs Bunny in front of a Royal Canadian Mountie firing squad.
Then for his last with he breaks out into "I wish I was in Dixie!" thereby transforming the entire firing squad into black folk with gigantic lips carrying banjos and singing along.
I didn't even catch the racist dig when I was little.
