Yah, I use the infinite hunter spawn to punish bad pubs.
I joined a game in the middle of a round where we were getting quite trampled. When the map changed 2 of our dudes had ragequit and one of the survivors had been balanced to the infected team so it was 3-3. Well the survivor quickly changed back. When my remaining teammate said to the survivors to wait a minute for more people to join they said "LOL TOO BAD NOOB WE'RE GOING" and proceeded to rush out the door.
Just remember that exploiting is a lame thing to do, and this exploit is incredibly obvious. You will be kicked hella fast. So only use it if they deserve it for being lame first.
I love being able to bind keys. It's very convenient.

I'm sure it will get fixed in the next update. They seem pretty good about it, though it looks like it may be a tough fix to do, while still having an NPC take over if someone leaves.
I suppose they could only spawn if there are 7 people total on the server so spectate does not count as a bot.
The more people know about it, the faster it'll get fixed.
It's also not like an aimbot or something where people can only guess you're doing it. If you're doing it, everyone will know.
yeah, we had a guy try it last night as soon as he joined. me and 3 friends were infected and the first thing this chump does is start exploiting, we said quit or boot. He stopped, then got switched to the other side and was mad. The other team was good sports and kicked him. Play fair or GTFO I think.
I don't think I'm ready for Expert. I'm Mailman12089 on the 360 and I normally play around 8:00 pm eastern time. Is it wrong that I feel content in Normal mode while Expert seems like this unattainable height fit for only
god-men/women?
Practice in advanced for a while. It's a nice stepping stone.
When you can run around in advanced without fear of the horde then you can go to expert and get raped a few times by regular infected because you didn't check every corner of the dark room you just entered.
After a while of that you can get even better.

I voted against using the exploit during the finale of NM with Butterfly and Mandalore so don't be all preachy and things to me. I'm a supporter of not being a lame jack ass.
Play on advanced. Normal is pathetically easy with advanced there's at least a chance that you'll die. Expert was very difficult at first and I'd see 7 or 8 retries in a campaign but now I'm annoyed if I even get one. You just get better at it over time.

Hmm... I haven't really felt that way. I started playing this game just recently and only play expert. The challenge is great. I actually feel like the situation is entirely hopeless and I'm not some Rambo that is nigh unstoppable.
I haven't yet finished a campaign, but I'm having an absolute blast trying. I refuse to try any other difficulty and will continue to play expert only.
Melee doesn't need fatigue or anything, it just needs to not be so powerful one person can knockback 10 zombies swarming over them. Limit the knockback per swing to 3 or 4 zombies max.
The problem here is that it's very easy to get a swarm of 10 zombies around you, and if you've suddenly got no means of defence, it will get very frustrating.

I tried versus with you guys last night, was was utterly wasted. I felt physically drained, it sickened me how horrible I was at it. From both sides of the game.
I must play more versus. I must practice my hunter pouncing.

Fixt!!
Pounces are nice, but its better to run with the horde after a boomer and scratch in most cases I've found. or one hunter pounce and another scratch while the horde is having a good time.
Also, had the greatest moment ever last night.
Playing a smoker on No mercy 2. They got the lift up, and one fell off the roof as a boomer hit. Smokered him down while he was purple and got over 500 assist points and 5000 regular points on one person. Noone came to save him and there were literally 30 zombies going to town on him. It was amazing.

I just don't think melee should be an effective means of actually killing zombies. The problem lies when you hide in a corner and melee an entire horde of zombies and survive. Melee should only be for knocking back zombies, it should take a lot of hits to actually kill them with it.
Expert would be fine difficulty wise IMO if they scaled the FF back just A TAD. The jump from Advanced to Expert is like leaping up a flight of stairs.

It takes like 4-5 melee hits to kill a zombie.

I think thats what makes it great, you have to be really good at not shooting teamates, and boy when you do it hurts. Honestly that is the biggest problem for people new to expert. But if you play a lot with a small group of friends you learn how each moves and can really minimize the friendlyfire incidents. It's bound to happen eventually but you can cut back with a lot of practice on expert.

I love the massive jump to Expert. As long as you play with good friends you can have so much fun actually trying to survive. We played through an Expert campaign together the other day (fairly sure it was BH) and we got to the end of a chapter when you have to run along a huge bridge to get to the saferoom. We'd all made it to the threshold of the bridge when...
*BLEURGH*
"OHMIGODI'veBeenBoomered!!!"
*Tank Music*
"WHAT?! Where is it?!"
"It's coming towards us from the bridge!!!"
One guy was literally Left4Dead as the Boomer Horde proceeded to rape him in every orifice.
Three of us ran straight at the Tank, I made it past him, and I was the only one that made it past him, with about 15 health. I hobbled most of the way to the safe room just as a teammate shouted "THERE'S ANOTHER HORDE COMING!"
I turned and backpedalled, watching this massive stream of infected monstrosities closing the gap between me and them. Just as they got to within about 2m of me I slammed the saferoom door in their faces and we carried on.
We never finished that campaign but we had SO much fun not doing it!
A tank on the bridge isn't too hard if there's more than one of you. He can only hit one of you with that massive swing of his, so just run straight at him and for the unlucky one that gets hit? Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

That's pretty much what happened, two sacrifices and ALOT of running
On an unrelated note, whatever happened to our set of Hanging Around pics?

I find advanced is a good middle ground between fun and "oh shit".

I'm quoting this so you can't wake up sober tomorrow and fix it.
That's cold.
You can't play a game these days without hearing, "So how do we skip this?"
I'd either assume so or it won't let you buy the games.
There is a gift option in the checkout to let you do this for any game.
Except for the left 4 dead 4 pack.
did you have two british guys on your team on an all talk server? Someone did that in my game last night too.

They deserved their fate.
Also, what's the current train of thought on the no mercy finale(Versus), hiding under the metal ramp. Exploit or fair game?
