So I bought the tv. I know it doesn't have an HDMI port, but I had giftcards to the store and it was a great price, and much better than my standard tv.
Halo looks great, as do my other games, but the dvds aren't as clear as I had hoped. Kinda fuzzy. Still, gaming looks so much better, and it's nice to have widescreen.

Not too sure I'll be on much tonight, since we're going into the city for my brother and his girlfriend who are visiting for a few days. But even if I do log in, I'd probably be playing CoD5 or Dead Space.
Blah got the early shift the next three days so no late night Halos. Should be on around 4:30pm eastern time tomorrow and Sunday for some Halo. (Or L4D!).

On that certain site I monitor for any new Halo 3 cheat/mod happenings, the Halo 3 modding forum has dropped down to like the 4th forum from #1. It practically died after TU2 and was decimated by the NXE update.
Well, I ventured over into the "Gears of War 2 glitches" forum. People with lag switches etc.
Apparently, all you have to do is standby as the game is counting down to start, and then stop it when the round starts. And then everyone not-you will have no weapons.

So I'm penalized much more severely for losing to people with lower ranks than I am for people with the same ranks or higher? I was the party leader for all those games and supposedly it would give us people with my rank, since I was the highest, but it kept giving us people with lower ranks.
It gives you people based on the rank of your party/team, not the party leader. Mixed parties result in less weight for wins.

Man, I just had some great team slayer games.
I actually landed a triple kill from throwing a grav lift near the rocket spawn on Rat's Nest.
The warthog kept moving back and forth, I think he was trying to center himself on it. So he tried to drive over it. I just sprayed the hog with AR bullets, and watched as they slowly landed on the barracades and began to tumble over the side. Except for the driver, the others really couldn't jump out, no idea why the driver stayed in.
Man... I hate it when a game has a shit ton of little 10-15 point acheivements.
There are 18 ahcievments that only net you 5 points each. None of which can be unlocked together.
I just picked up Armored Core for Answer for 20 bucks at gamestop, cause I love robots and own almost every AC game.
The acheivements however are brutal. One of them is to win 10,000 online matches and another is to have 10,000 online kills! That would take like 5 fucking years
Yeah I'm pretty much not getting that, there are also achievments for lke 2000, 5000 and 7000 of both types. All together its like 400 gs that I'll never get
Give Prince of Persia a rent for a week for an easy 700-800 gamerpoints. Amazing game, well worth it, but those last 200 points will take a while. Dixon I saw you playing that game yesterday and was wondering what the hell it was.
Also, my Celestial Ghost gold membership will run out soon, and I won't renew it. I'll be playing Halo on my Jimmy account after that. I'll try and send friend requests to the people I haven't added yet, though I have a lot of them already.
CG will just be used to play my offline single player games, seeing as how it has all my gamerscore on it.
Well it's not that the points are important but it is fun to have acheivements for a secondary objective. I don't really like multiplayer acheivements, especially when there fucking retarded.
The game is pretty cool, a lot more customisation compared to 4. However the gameplay caters to a really niche audience. I'm not sure why I like it maybe like a brain tumor or something. I just like building my robots.
I would be suprised if anyone else here has played any of the AC games.
Also soon I will be back for halo loving just taking a much needed break while at home

I used to LOVE to play Armored Core. Haven't played it in a long time though. I played the original Armored Core for the PS1 and Armored Core 2 for the PS2.

Anyways I think fiesta is riddled with boosters that think they are going to be the flippin ruler of the world if they become good at every gametype.
