What is Garry's Mod? Seems egotistical already. I don't like it
-Stuff it, commie. Garry's Mod (also known as GMod) is a sandbox game for Half Life 2, pretty much any of its expansions, and is also host to many mini-mods and add-ons. You can basically do anything, if you have the patience to design it, like:

-It is! But the simpler and still rewarding things are easy to tinker with.
Okay, so being a Half Life 2 mod, I can play for free, rite?
-Actually, no. You could in theory try and find GMod 9, which was free, but GMod 10 has significant improvements and just about everything new will be for GMod 10 only. It's only ten bucks, though!

-You haven't looked! The definitive site for Gmod addons is garrysmod.org. Generally the highest downloaded things are the most awesome, but you may have to dig for older things. Be wary that a lot of mods will increase load times.

-There generally isn't "winning," though there are sub-mods like fortwars and other assorted addons. There's even roleplaying that's entertaining for you without any real social life!

Heh, pretty damn good. Makes me want this mod even more.
The only thing I don't like about Gmod is that it's so hard to have every addon you need for any one server. I almost always end up running into to bright red errors. That said, space mod is very fun, and I think some space mod action would be sweet.

That said, I would be so down for a actual game on of this. Ive always wanted to play this with PA mans.
Do we know is the server from the last thread is still up? Also I think the title should be something from one of the videos as the last thread had a similar one.(By that I mean almost the same)
It's been down almost as long as the thread has. Maybe longer.
It wasn't a great server, either, because the specs were pretty low and it crashed a lot.
I'm not sure this is Garry's mod, but it seems to be a better version of that Team Fortress Pulp Fiction video. By better, I mean the mouths actually move in time to the words.

It is pretty self-explanatory with that picture. You just try to knock the LOLball into the enemy's goal with your window piece.
The one thing I wish G-Mod would do is make some of the more regular mods "official", as in, they auto-download into your folder. e.g. Pheonix, that one with all the vehicles, and WIRE. Wire is so freaking great.
PS the ports you need to forward to host are 27015 and 27005 on TCP and UDP.
