Yes; the title is a reference to Samurai Jack.

I was wondering if anyone can give some pointers and general advice on how to jump over cars:

It would be a great parlour trick at the next car meet we have here.

Any exercises; and gym tips would be great too! Thanks!

Try jumping with ankle weights. A lot of having a good jump is being able to lift your legs up into your chest, so try working on that too.

I'd say set up some cardboard boxes for practice.

In my totally unprofessional opinion, it seems that its not just getting height, but also the technique in getting your legs up and into a sit position to totally clear the car.

Also, check out http://urbanfreeflow.com/ . They have a bunch of guides of a bunch of stuff, and I'm pretty sure theres a couple on jumping.

Work your calf muscles. Those help you jump higher.

One thing I do is just jump staight up...

Jump up, off your toes and press down as hard as you can - after doing this 10-20 times you should start feeling your calf muscles getting hot (like they are being worked out) - this is good.

Another trick is to hold weights in your hand and get up on a little platfor (2-3 inches off the ground) - with the balls of your feet (half front of your feet) just keep lifting your heels up and then lower them down lower then the incline. try without weights first, a bitch to balance but really good at working calf muscles.

Another way to do this is to sit down, put your toes/balls on a 4-5 inch platform, then set weights on your knees/thighs (be careful to not fuck up your knees) - then move the weight up and down by bringing your heels up and down. This should work out your calves good.

As far as jumping over cars... I have no idea. Try with say a bunch of boxes that are about the same size of a car and put them in front of a swimming pool.

I'm just going to say that if you fuck this up when trying to jump over someones nice car, I really hope you arn't too attached to your teeth... At least the part where they are in your mouth.

I think jumping up and down a whole bunch would be a really bad idea; it's very rough on your joints and bones.

Squats and calf raises seem like they'd be the best way to go.

In football we used to jump onto and off of various boxes that were strange colors and had different heights. Think that one level in HL. I'm not sure how much it helped, but I'd bet it would go a long way to strengthen your quads and calves. Try not to trip.
