I don't have Coco, but I'll add her to the 'wanted to reside in Crazy Acres aka Baldur' list. Ribbot is pretty cool- and he's got the Space set up in his house! Awesome.

Can we add Coelacanths to Serena in the title? I just spent 45 minutes fishing in the rain in the evening, and not a sign of one (and very few large shadows at all in the ocean to boot). And then the hour changed, and it stopped raining. Very annoying as I can rarely play during the night hours in the game right now.

Yeah. Basically all that transfers is your catalog at Nook's, so you can order your favorite stuff after you get money again. And your face/name are the same.

There are certain things that won't transfer over, obviously. Surprisingly, you can no longer order tools, but once you meet that bitch Serena you'll figure out why they went that way.

Holy shit, my neighbors actually coughed up FIVE old carpets last night. With the one I've been saving from the last time they shorted me, I was actually able to get two of Saharah's carpets this time around.

Of course, one was the Music Room Floor (bleh), and I have no place to put the other, more awesome one (Mossy Garden). I miss having five rooms to fill.

Just posting to brag that Serena finally forked over the golden axe to me today. After weeks of unending teasing, taunting, and general frustration. But whatever, the golden axe is MIIIINE.

....is it really just an unbreakable axe?

(oh lord, I did all this to save a few bells on buying more axes? ;_; )

Huh, I was just thinking about going for the golden axe, but more to look good with my Optimus Prime and Zap Ranger costumes.

How do you get it, anyway?

Well, I threw in a normal axe as usual, and Serena started up with the 'What is with you mortals? First you throw coins, now axes? Umm, did you throw in a Gold Axe? Or a Silver Axe?' And I chose 'normal axe'. She said 'Honesty? Well, since you were honest, I think I'll give you this Golden Axe.. ...Just kidding!' (which has happened MANY times before). Then she paused and said '...did that sound properly goddess like, you think?' (this part hasn't ever shown up for me before). And a sliding bar came up, between 'Spot on!' And 'Ugh no!'. I slid the bar all the way up to Spot on, and she said 'Yes! I still have it! Well, just this one time, I'll give you the Golden Axe. Bbye!'

Though now with the axe, I am realizing that I can hit the rocks even faster with an axe than with my shovel, so I guess there is that.

Optimus Prime costume you say? Sounds interesting! Got any pictures?

Been a good week in AC this week. Resetti's surveillence centre was open on Thursday so I got the silver shovel, followed by the golden water can on Friday. Anyone know what the silver shovel does differently from the golden shovel?

Mwahaha! I bought an orchid mantis off of my pet squirrel for the flea market. Stupid camo rare bug! Take that!

Silver shovel occasionally doubles your rock whackin' money. Gold shovel increases your odds or lets you make money trees.

Ah, right, the fountain... I read about that once, but forgot about it, as I don't have that yet. I'm hoarding bells for interest, paying off the next part of my house, then going for the fountain.

Precisely why I wanted it (I don't like to chop down trees).

No, but I can take some. :) How do I get them to where you guys can see them here, though?

I don't know what either other shovel does, or a gold watercan for that matter.

And I've only been lucky enough for Resetti's place to be open ONCE, and I stupidly stepped back outside before doing anything, so I could get pictures for my wife. And then it was closed. >_<

You'll need an SD card to copy the photos to, then transfer them to your PC, then upload them to your photo sharing site of choice. Alternatively you could let me visit your town and steal your patterns(s?)! I have G2 Autobot and Decepticon logos for swaps. :)

I finally caught a Raja Brooke yesterday while looking for Nibbles's key in the river. I don't play during the day very often and it's been rainy most of the month. I think I'm caught up on catchables now (except the Fly, which I can get any time I feel like it).

I get this far with her fairly often, but have yet to be successful no matter where I move that damn bar.

Aaaaaaand I will now be answering this way every single time, even though in the past she's called me a phony for doing so. Hopefully I will soon repeat your success.

So does anyone still buy turnips? We had 404 last night and I felt that announcing it to the thread would have been a waste of time, given the overall inactivity.

Money has kind of become irrelevant after my own price spike. I've paid off the loans, got a windmill and have plenty left in the bank. I guess most other people are in the same situation given I had 495 a couple of weeks back with no offers. Or people have stopped playing :(

I'm still playing and still in need of cash now that I've decided to obtain the Gracie furniture set. But I keep forgetting to pick up turnips on Sundays, so its not quite as helpful as it otherwise could be.

I do have a growing pile of duplicate paintings I've gotten from Redd, though.

One annoying thing though- now that Pekoe FINALLY handed over her Exotic Bed and moved out, Ribbot immediately started talking about moving away. He just got here! Figures that the ones I ignore and hit with shovels don't get the message to MOVE.

Apparently when hybrids grow they can ignore radical differences in elevation. The other day I found a blue rose on the edge of a cliff, with its blue/purple parents in the valley below. (And my wife doesn't move flowers since she knows how much work I put into them.)

Other news: holy shit, I finally have a SINGLE black cosmos! That only took six or seven months!

Planned to spend a good portion of Sunday catching bugs, since I rarely get much time during the day. Naturally it was raining. >_<

Yeah, it's not like I cut down trees much anymore. And even if I did , the stockpile of axes I built up to throw into that damn fountain every day would be sufficient to raze the town's forestry several times over. But y'know, completionism. And the urge to finally "beat" Serena at her stupid game of moody luck.

The game then compensated for my incredible luck with the Golden Axe by giving me absolute shit-all in two hours of fishing. At one point I literally caught six bluegills in a row. Then my girlfriend signed on and immediately called an arowana right outside her house, then fished up a piranha and an ocean sunfish (which is a ridiculous-looking fish, btw) within ten minutes. I was...displeased.

You need to give Pascal a specific seashell (scallop) to get it this time around.

Of course, of the stuff he gives you, only the wallpaper and carpet can't be ordered from Nook. If you imported your catalog from the DS, you probably have access to most of it already.

You guys still active? I've started playing again this past week, and it's still fun. Been making some good money bug hunting.

Oh and I caught a Gold Stag Beetle last night. I went to show it off so I could snap a pic, and I released it by accident. Made my stomach drop, it sucked. I scoured all night hoping another would spawn, sure enough one did. But it was impossible to get to the tree it was on with out scaring it away because the tree was next to my lighthouse. I took Iggly behind Nook's and beat him with my shovel to satisfy my nerdrage.

So my mom was just playing Animal Crossing, and she says she saw something black run off into the trees. She chased after it but couldn't find it. She says it looked like it had 4 legs and a tail, but other than that she couldn't see any details, like the shadows of fish in the river/ocean. I asked her how big it was, she said "about the size of a sea bass, I suppose"

Is this even slightly familiar to anyone? I have no clue what she could be talking about, but she's not the type to suddenly hallucinate something either.
