Are there any powerfists besides Fisto!? And if so, can they be used to repair Fisto!?

There's "The Shocker", a unique power fist that does double damage to all robots.

I really wish the enemies in this game would level PAST you, a challenge while your out running around at level 20 would be pretty great.

Also, the DLC coming sooner, either or.

I think they wanted to avoid going that route after Oblivion.

I...I'm...at level 20 right now and am starting to think that maybe level scaling wouldn't be that awful......

I know it was hated in Oblivion, but man, I'd be okay if scaled enemies started showing up in the late game. I'm roaming the wastes and all I keep coming across are raiders and maybe a couple super mutants. Of course, I haven't progressed in the story past Rivet City, but
I don't think groups of Enclave soldiers will be much of an issue...

I've been using player.setlevel 19 to drop myself back so I feel like the XP is worth something after pouring 65 hours into this character.

try taking on a radscorpion king.

    A what?

    a rad scorpion king.
    *snip*

    or maybe a crystallized mirelurk.
    *snip*

    or a deathclaw mother.
    *snip*

    or a bloatfly queen.
    *snip*

    or more.

Okay, now you're just making stuff up...

...where can I get this mod?

oh and super mutant radio station. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2236

I talked to everyone, realized what my options were (sooo obvious) and started shooting because that little compound didn't make sense at all. How they cope with the local wildlife/raiders was beyond me. So I just did what logically shouldn't happened ages ago.

And screw invincible children. I can sell adults/children into slavery and murder people in cruel ways but shooting kids is a nono. Whatever.

Actually, no, the best way to do that quest is to follow the pre-release 5-part gameplay demo and stuff a grenade into Roy's (or whoever the ghoul is outside Tenpenny) knickers, but then realize later that you want to sympathize with the ghoulies. It's not like I already
    asploded Tenpenny for YGSTITH

Yes, I know, it's the same one that Moira gives you. But your entire entourage has to match! Someone make a mod where you can clothe Dogmeat.

I got pissed at Tenpenny's snide and rude remarks and removed his face with a shotgun blast. Then I tossed his body over the railing and watched it plummet 5 stories. Best. Death. Ever. Besides the randomly exploding Protector droids that fly through space.

destructible mini mukes and other stuff (lets you say be more creative in trap laying, like putting a mini nuke on the floor next to a few mines and watch that mole rat fly. )

This is a better idea. I might just start one like that on the side very soon. It helps I am drinking whiskey right now, and coincidentally wherefrom I got the idea.

    I love whiskey.

The hardest part is closing to melee range.

You'll go through a lot of stimpacks but it can be done. I think if you're just doing it for comedic effect, I'd drop the difficulty to easy. You still take a lot of damage but it's survivable.

You can also use cover to force enemies to come to you, but it takes a lot of patience which a drunk would not have.

It's easy if you have dogmeat/followers.

Seriously, I'm playing on hard and my 4 endurance character with a 4 DR jacket hardly ever takes a hit because every enemy I encounter goes straight for Dogmeat or RL3 while I just walk up to them and take their head off with a shotgun.

Also the iron fist and toughness perks will turn you into a beast. The worst thing about melee is for some baffling reason you can't target specific body parts with melee attacks, but I'm sure someone has modded that back in.

The easy idea is very good. I'll honestly probably get bored with it after a couple levels, but running around everywhere drunk punching people will do its job at the giggle factor. That, and I can keep a save and go back to it when I need an uplift.

On another note, my secret santa sent me a bunch of books, but the first one I cracked open (because the subject matter interests me INTENSELY) was Beyond Armageddon. It is a collection of 21 short stories that are all about life after a nuclear war. The second to last story, A Boy and his Dog smacks pretty heavily of Fallout. And it was written in 1969.

For a quick rundown, the world is a wasteland, women are a commodity, and rich people live underground in what they call, "downunders". It was almost like some sort of fanfic, but very well written. The book is worth tracking down because all the stories are great, but this one story is particularly haunting and worth the read alone. Besides, it would take at most 30 minutes to read if you are some dummy slow read-y type.

Apparently they made a movie, and I am now in the hunt for it.

    Edit:
