You know, people constantly say SS was awful but it reeeeaaaalllly wasn't. It's a lot better than DC is right now, it's just not as good as CoH because it's using the same crappy DoW engine instead of the completely new CoH one.
Carnifex's give me a huge boner. I plan on converting one into a Deff Dread in the TT.

I hope you can turn Carnifex's into a gun platform, I want to be able to recrate my TT army in sexy 3D, but its not looking too good right now.
I mean who seriously uses CC Warrior squads? They cost WAY to much and are not too effective without pumping em full of adrenaline.
It's so sad that it's so true about the warriors. Even with adrenaline that just means they'll be able to compete with stuff that costs less than them, and they still die to anti-infantry stuff

now i dont know about you guys, so i might be completely wrong (so dont quote me on that), but it loks a lot like the demo for the game is being released next month (15th with the magazine here in the UK to be exact)!
My guess: this isn't a real demo, this is one of those 'cd contains 25s of gameplay video' demos
Gaming magazines often use that trick to gain more sales. My advice is that if it doesn't explicitly say 'playable demo', then to be wary. I'm not saying it won't be a demo rather than a trailer, just to not get your hopes up.

That is, what monstrous hellbeast of a rig are they using to produce their screenshots/FMV footage?

I barely met the minimum system requirements of Dawn of War with my old computer, and this was the same for nearly every game I ever wanted to play. I'm excited I don't have to worry about that kind of thing for a little while longer.

So while I was at Best buy they apparently have a special preorder bonus. A few new colors (all metallic shades), some new wargear (named weapons and a banner) as well as a special exclusive Chapter and 1v1 map. Next time I head over there, I might pick it up.

I am definitely going to play Orkz again.
Space marines have plasma guns in DoW. Plasma cannons are a whole larger level, as its an area of effect weapon.
Plasma cannons are essentially the greatest anti-infantry(anything thats not a tank anyways) weapon in 40k that a soldier can carry.
