There was a barber and his wife
and she was beautiful...

A proper artist with a knife.
but they transported him for life.
And he was beautiful...

Barker, his name was.
Benjamin Barker.


A sordid tale with a sordid outcome,
leaving a man with nothing to strive for, only to avenge.
The barber has returned, his work undone.

All that's left is revenge.


This is an open sign-up for a seasonal mini-Phalla, aka Mafia, game.

There's room for 20 players. A small minority of the players will be given the role of an evil faction.

The majority will have the goal of eliminating them before the minority outnumbers or kills them all.
The key objective is to discover the evil players by means of a public vote(casted in !red).



Due to the holiday, game 'days' will take place over a 12 hour period, each ending at a noon and midnight time frame, Eastern Time.

As such, activity will be strictly enforced. Failure to contribute or cast a vote during a single day will result in that player being killed for inactivity that night.


Standard rules will apply, such as no anonymous contact, verbatim sharing of role PMs, etc.

This will be a mostly traditional game as mechanics go.


The game should begin not long after the roster is filled.

I may then take reserves at that point, if needbe.


This game is admin-approved.


So in true spirit of the season, feel free to sign up in lime or red.

    At least 12-hour periods are easier to manage than last year's six-hour ones. When does the game start?

    there is this bizarre version of the nutcracker on television right now. Some guy as the Devil, and another guy with cat facial makeup, and a little boy, not Clara....

    And..

    It's just wrong, and yet I can't stop watching because I love the music of the Nutcracker.

    Every day all the players will vote for someone they want to be eliminated from the game, and/or die in colorful methods.

    The game ends when all threats to the majority/good players have been eliminated, or when victory is impossible for them because they've been outnumbered or brutally murdered.

    I won't be able to get the game rolling as quickly as planned, as I'm off for a holiday get together of some sort, but I expect in a few hours when I'm back, the game will on shortly afterwards.

    First day will end at noon tomorrow in that case.
