I seem to be having a problem with my 360 I recently bought myself a wireless adapter and the xbox live cards.
I have connected the adapter to my network name. When I run the tests it shows the wireless is connected however the ip address is not connecting. How can i get this to work, I really want to get playing online. So please help me!
Edit: I have fixed it i don't need anymore help you can lock this thread thank you!

First thing I'd suggest is check the Xbox's name and compare it to your computer names on your network. If its sharing a name maybe your router is rejecting it cause it sees computer "bob" is already connected.
If not maybe try manually assigning an IP thats not used from your DHCP range to see if it will move on and establish the XBL connection.
How can i assign another IP, an how do i get into my DHCP?
another little note when i go into the More info it tells me that my PPoE settings were not validated.
There are 2 ways of fixing this error. By the sounds of the error it seems like you have your DSL settings set onto the computer you use at home and not the router.
This is kinda of an odd way of doing it and the assumption could be wrong but it seems pretty plausible from the error message your given.
What you can do it either put your PPoE settings in your router - like your dsl username and password - or enter them into your xbox. It would make things easier if you entered them in your router in the long run but you'll have to access the router first. Either by using the quick setup disk or by logging into the router via internet browser.
I usually use the internet browser method, to do this you need the default gateway address. This can be done by bringing up the command prompt window by going to Run under the start menu and typing cmd in the box.
Next you type ipconfig /all in the command prompt window and it will give you a list of addresses, you want the default gateway address.
Next open up your internet browser - for example internet explorer - and type in the default address into the URL bar. This should bring you to a login page for your router. Now each router has a default username and password.
I'm pretty sure for D-Link routers it is admin for the username and leave the password box empty and then linksys is admin for the username and password for the password box. I'm not entirely sure about this but a quick google search of your router name + default username should result in the answer.
This will give you access to your router, now you should see on the page network configuration or some option of that sort and you'll want to change the DHCP option to PPoE or DSL then enter your username and password provided by your ISP and go save changes...I generlised a lot there as the setup pages are different for each brand of router.
Of course if you don't want to do this route as i can be daunting, there are options to enter your PPoE settings into the xbox, I'm just not sure off hand and I'm not near an xbox to check
EDIT: Also yeah if you still have the quick setup disk that can be a lot easier to enter your PPoE username and password as you don't need to know your default gate way or any of that crap it pretty much walks you through entering that information
