But what if there was a chance that Israeli interests owned and operated a vast majority of news sources, they could potentially only report stories that served their interests.
you go into a thread with the sources that you have, not the sources that you want to have or will have later
If your sources are that bad you're better off not going into the thread with it at all. I'm pretty sure I can find a Hamas source that says that the Israelis are douchebags.

I'm not a news reporter. I am just sharing the information I have.
If I was looking to mislead folks, I wouldn't have mentioned the source.

Are you saying that Jews control the media?
In a hypothetical situation, it's possible that a media controlled by a party may only report in their own interest or worse, skew news in their interest and ignore alternate interpretations.
It's all crazy talk, because the liberals own the media, not the jews, and the last election had tons of right wing politicos confirming that Obama will nuke Israel when he takes office.

That's right I forgot.
My sources are now telling me that it is Hollywood that is controlled by the Jews.

Only because Jews built Hollywood themselves, after getting kicked out of New York
Israel doesn't want to fight hamas, hamas wants to fight israel, and purposefully attacks civilians
Israel is trying to remove a threat to their civilians, and in the course of this there is collateral
Mostly because Hamas is a major propagator of "CNN tactics", hiding amongst the populace, gathering the populace into places then starting fights there withI Israel, all to make Israel look bad
But Isreal would never lie something just to make Hamas look bad......
Israel doesn't need to make Hamas look bad.
Hamas is a terrorist organization.
And the legitimate Isreal military are killing civilians but it's ok because they aren't terrorists, right?
how proud are you of making that argument? you can tell me. it's okay. i won't ridicule you.
i'm probably lying.
I just think that acting like on side is better than the other is pretty retarded. They're both all kinds of wrong and stupid from where I'm sitting.
Israel pulled out of the Gaza strip in 2005, as a show of good faith toward the peace process.
Hamas, which took control of Gaza when the Palestinian Government fell apart in 2007, has been firing rockets in to Israeli land, aimed at civilians (not military targets) and has been injuring and even killing Israeli citizens.
How should Israel respond? Keep in mind that Hamas' ideology has shown, in the past, that they are not willing to reason with Israel diplomatically; they actually refuse to recognize the existance of the state of Israel.

If you want to be taken seriously, you should at least learn how to spell the name of the country.
Makes it pretty clear that you have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm sorry I misspelled Israel my bad, but if you want to be pedantic it should have been Israeli to make it grammatically correct.
I'm aware of your grammatical errors. I was cutting my losses.
My point was that you are showing a lack of understanding of the subtleties of the situation, and the fact that you consistantly mispelled the name of the country in question (which is in the thread title, no less) just punctuates the fact that you don't know what you're talking about.

Well, Air Strikes when you know your opposition have a tendency to use civilians as human shields, would probably be a good place not to start.
Now that I've got the sarcasm out of my system. Realistically there is no solution for the situation unless Hamas loses power or one side exterminates the other.

True but the idea that both sides aren't gonna lie to make the other look even worse is kinda silly.

@Val
Hamas is immeasurably worse than israel
Israel doesn't want to fight hamas, hamas wants to fight israel, and purposefully attacks civilians
Israel is trying to remove a threat to their civilians, and in the course of this there is collateral
Mostly because Hamas is a major propagator of "CNN tactics", hiding amongst the populace, gathering the populace into places then starting fights there withI Israel, all to make Israel look bad
Would you rater I lay out for him the difference between deliberate targetting of civilians and collateral damage?
Or explain how Hamas uses human shields for the fiftieth time in this thread?
This is SE after all, not EE.
