Yeah but he doesn't go into the Castle at a full sprint. Though I guess he might if they put Simon-mode in as a beat-the-game-reward in one.

Cutting an empty disposable Argon bottle in half with a metal saw is still incredibly stressful. I mean, I went to a huge amount of effort to make sure the can was depressurized, but there's still the voice in the back of your head saying "what if you're wrong? What if it's actually at full pressure and explodes when you breach the side of it?"

Still, it's open now and I'm not dead and it had precisely zero pressure as I had previously established. Still, I would've felt better wearing like, some type of reinforced armor while doing that. Which now seems like the next type of thing I should make.

my brother nearly blew up a lab. he had a pillar of flame erupting out of a bottle and eventually stopped it, and then had to smash the bottle to prevent it from exploding. It exploded anyway (less so) and incinerated everything in the hood.

Rock Band 2 is fucking sadistic and cruel.

I've got to do this 8 song setlist.

I'm good, really. But I just can't do Battery or Blackened by Metallica. Those are the only Metallica songs I have on this goddamn game, and out of every song they could choose, I get one of those every goddamn time in this setlist.

    Fuck this game!

I'm getting into home casting and forging!

The argon bottles are made of like 5mm steel plate, so they make the perfect crucibles for melting aluminum, which the internet tells me is a good way to get started. The dream is convert the paved area of my lower backyard into something suitable for melting iron.

It's all ridiculously fun and rustic and makes me feel all manly.

I got interested when I realized way too many projects stall when I need small metal parts. Then I thought to myself "wait a minute, people made awesome metal shit with materials available ages ago and you can buy much better ones in the local supermarket!"

And then I started googling home casting and forging and oh hey there's a big community of people dedicated to doing exactly that.

Also, I have an entire lab and microstructural analysis facility available to me, so the creative repurposing of SEM equipment is also possible if I get really interested in how good my stuff comes out. I mean I even have liters and liters of hydrofluoric acid just sitting around!

the clear way to go is to engineer a body of nano machines, each machine containing your personality downloaded into an advanced AI program.

you'd be invincible! each nanomachine would be capable of slowly rebuilding the body.
