The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Recently, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the two-disk version. I installed it off of the first disk, set the executable to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode, and started it up.
Or so I wish.
Whenever go to run PS:T, I get through the Registration windows and then I get a big, fat, and ugly, "Planescape: Torment has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I've looked all over the webs for some tips to run this bad boy on XP, but I'm not finding anything.
hmmm, I just installed and played PS:T recently on my XP machine, and I really didn't have to do owt special to get it working. Make sure you have the game patched up to the latest version ok, and try it without compatability mode as well.
Would also recommend using one of the widecreen mods available - makes the game look soo much nicer these days

I'm using the former one, but latter works fine as well.
