Custom Stats are totally ok in my book if you want to go that route. However, Im just worried that your speed will get you some free hits from the enemy as indirect defense (AC) is pretty much Speed+Endurance.
However your tek will be a nice touch to scoring a lot of hits, making you super ideal for offensives at the start of the game.
If you decide to stick with this, just know that 3 is a below normal number that could be contextualized as such in role-playing.
Your Abilities>
Since you're Lvl 3 In systems Debugging, you get-
A Hunch: Roll Emp, add your skill bonus. You will somehow get a sense of what the game may try to pull next.
Class Ability> Squire
Parry(Defense Action)- Tek(rolled or no)+Def of your weapon will subtract against an enemy's attack roll - throwing it off course. Should your parry overwhelm them, you will get a chance for a counter(requires a reaction). Should you crit your parry, you automatically counter.
Block(Defense Action)- Str+Def of your weapon will subtract against one attack's damage.
Other than that, I'll be preparing your entry post.

They're not pre rolled, just set as is. (This is still beta after all.)

quick question about putting points into skills: is it just one point per level or cumulative (i.e. 1 point = level 1, 2 points for level 2, etc. etc.). Also, if I have, for example, Level 3 languages, how many languages can I pretend to know?
People gain 5points worth of stats everytime they level up
on top of that are 5 point worth of anything points.
it seems hacked but since its a beta , balancing issues can be resolved when testing issues are ironed out.
And yes , it is one point per level. There are ways even, to increase that level asides from levelling up. like say studying it or gaining LP (learn points) which are cumulative like exp.
but yeah , 1 point = 1 level rank.

Also, I'm going to pretend that, given it's level 3, I know at least 3 other languages with a good proficiency, so i'll go with Latin, ancient Greek, and German. However, this is kinda cheating, as (real life knowledge) it means I can probably struggle through reading French and Italian.
hmm are people basing their characters a fair amount on themselves? I'm wondering if I should have gone that route since mine isn't that similar aside from appearance and insomnia
And should I just stick with the name Egos. since most seem to be going in that direction- Monday?

BobCeska- I will write in your entry post, and if you can contextualize it in your character you're free to use those languages since the setting will probably push these skills to a thing of the past. Interpret this how you wil. But it will be incorporated in the game somehow.

What sort of Stat+D10 combination would i use to overcome this?
First determine the action you're taking.
Depending on the context of the action I usually tell you what you roll.
For example if your conflict is psychological, then will is your best bet. You can take the initiative to roll will in your post only if its justified by action in a literal sense.

>DM gives a +1 Bonus because action shows a degree of effectiveness.
Just OOC is it ok to play the jaded gamer? Or is all the stuff happening in this sim unprecedented thus far? Even for those who are aware of the underground gaming world in this alternative verse?
Go ahead. I dont think theres any real way to /act/ outside of your character honestly.
I've even had a player Guess and Act on a plot twist that he had predicted. He reasoning was self contained to " This is gonna be one of those betrayal episodes isn't it ? I couldas feel it."
Beware the jaded gamer though, as they tend to become emotionally distant overtime....

-About 100 or so "beast men" are out for everyone's blood.
-Currently there are 9 of you.
In the fight that has occured so far, about 25 losses were incurred on Ducky's side but was able to score about a hundred or more kills against the enemy.
The map according to you.
Where each square is roughly 5 feet wide. and the enemy less than a 100 squares away west, which is 10 decasquares which will allow you guys roughly.. . . 3 rounds before shit hits the fan.
+ More if you manage to throw off their scouts.
Advantages At your disposal. As of late
>A school and its inherently defensive layout.
> 5 members of a hardened fighting unit.
> An under disciplined enemy
> A guy what could possibly have latent psychic powers.
> Yourself.

Don't worry I just meant in regards to handling this particular scene
but if that's too heavy toned- something more akin to FMA, Raal Grad, or Fairy Tale would do.
