    There's tons.

I might be down there a year or two from now.

I know a bunch take the PAXTrain up with us. Not sure how many exactly.

But yes, there are a lot of LA PAXers.

    Hotel bound on PAX Saturday,

Speaking of the PAX train, one of my buddies is talking about taking it this year. Is there an official site for the train or is it handled completely through the PAX train thread (which will undoubtedly make it's annual appearance shortly)?

    Thanks.

There's an event site set up somewhere (I don't have the link on here), but you can probably just wait until a thread gets thrown up.

We need to call Amtrak like yesterday.

They're gonna need at least two extra cars. One for us, One for the rest.
    If not four or five.

Judging from the fact I could have ten to thirty people coming from Monterey...
It could double, if not quadruple.

We filled up the obs deck COMPLETELY with like 50 - 100 depending on when and what time of day it was.

Amtrak knows who we are at this point, at least the #14 Starlight Folks.

If they want room and an obs car for normal people... We need to talk to them soon.

We might need extra cars anyway, we sold the train out like two months in advance regardless.

I'll call them soon, and if Augustus isn't going on the train trip; because he lives up North, me and a few others can take it over.

    I'm all about organization.

But if we need them to do this, now is the time, the earlier the better.

If we get more cars just for us, I bet we can get us a little discount if not a big one now, where we don't have to all board together.

Just a thought; they had to kick us out of the Obs Car in the Cascades last year because we had taken it over from LA to there.

And the internets were awesome; Thanks RCars and friends!

We should also set up a good website where we can all sign up and maybe have our own forum.
    That would help. For srsly.

I wasn't on the train trip, but I do live in the SF Valley. PAX 2008 was awesome, and I can't wait until 2009.
