Spina Bifida - I know, not a nice topic..

I need help with this for some Coursework at school can anybody tell me:

A). who needs the test for it
B). who should be tested for blood groupings

And general background information on it. Im looking for reliable sources, so not things like wikipedia unless of course its references are okay but i have checked that website anyway. I have everything else i need - i think :P - its just the answers to those, i cant find them anywhere

Thanks for the help guys i appreciate it :)

Do people just not look things up on Google anymore?

Everything you could possibly need to know about Spina Bifida there. I found the answers to both A and B in about 15 minutes of digging.

EDIT: Question A sounds to me like a trick question, since the serum AFP is part of the standard Triple Screen that is offered to every single pregnant woman who goes to a Primary Care or OB doctor. It's not "who needs the test for it", in the real world. And 95% of novel Neural Tube Defect cases are with NO prior risk factors in the mother at all.

Isn't there a "Don't do my homework for me" rule here?
