this one number literally affects which courses and which universities I can go to with no other mitigating factors

I did IB which is assessed externally all around the world
which basically means you might get horribly unlucky and draw some Nazi in Germany who gives a you a C when your teacher recommended an A just because they misunderstood the criteria
and no there's no way to change it

Even if I shit up high school, I have built enough connections through random people I have met that I am guaranteed a job no matter what.
Also I just lied and said, "High School Diploma" on every application ever. No one ever looked into it.
I mean I'm not an astronaut or anything but High School had very little effect on my life.

you can appeal through your IB school rep you just have to pay uh 100 dollars or something to get it remarked
but if you got a C you probably sucked, because the concepts you learn aren't terribly difficult
and the IB markers aren't retards?
if you studied for the tests you will get at least 5s
