LOCK PLZ (it was Definitely, Maybe)

There's a scene where a guy and a girl, I believe, are buying cigarettes. She buys hers and he buys his and then he chides her on her brand. She brags that her brand is...something (better?) and that it lasts longer. Some money is wagered that her cigarette will last more puffs than his. He loses, she tells him to keep the money.

My question, H/A, is this: What is this from? It's pretty vague, but it popped into my head on the train today, and I think it might be from a movie/show.

The other day my parents were watching a chick-flick called Definitely, Maybe. I wasn't paying attention at all, coming in and out of the room, but Ryan Reynolds (the blond, bearded, trying-to-be-funny guy in Blade III) and Isla Fisher (I think she was the girl in Hot Rod too? I dunno) come out of a convenience store and they stand there smoking cigarettes. After a short conversation she points out that his smoke is nearly gone while hers still looks like it was just lit, and he has clearly lost a bet/argument/point or whatever.

I didn't see the whole scene so I don't know the context, but his smoke was shorter and she had clearly won something over him. Definitely, Maybe was the name of the movie. Could be it.

Edit: ah yes money was the wager. But she refused the cash and said all she needed was to be proven right, and he offered to take her out for a birthday dinner, but instead she asked him to escort her to a party she didn't want to attend alone.
