It is no easy task winning a 1v3. You must jump many a hurdle, bettering three armies, the smallest.
Aye, no mere man may win an uphill battle against thrice your men, it takes a courageous heart and will that makes steel look like copper. When you are that, then, and only then, may you win a 1v3.

Ok guys, one of the devs said that the AI Donation option may be causing the sync error. When we try the AI mod tonight, we need to turn off the donation option, then they want me to report. If you guys try this beforehand, just let me know so I can tell them the outcome.
EDIT Also, one of them says the sync error can be partially responsible due to the hardware the computer hosting has. If it can't send the AI data back and forth fast enough the error can occur. So....Talous, your PC fails at life.
Be sure to go to the vent channel, even if you don't have a mic, you can communicate through comments to get info on what Hamachi channel we're in. Plus it's fun to listen to Talous, Goomba, and I trade insults about things totally unrelated to the game.
Protip: stop using fagmods that cause sync errors and fagpacks that everyone has to download and learn to install properly and end up being 90% crap anyway.

We've determined that Spindrift's custom map pack is somewhat messed up since he could play standard maps fine. That caused the errors anytime he was playing. The AI mod itself is causing a different set of sync errors which I reported to the developers.

I have this crazy feeling that mods aren't working right for DoW.
Oh no, that banner doesn't have a proper green Atreides hawk on it.
Not at all.
It's a red hawk.
Ahahah, no.
Remember Paul's test? The one where he goes to ride the Maker? "...saluted his green and black banner..."
EDIT: It's not quite the exact quote, but I don't have the book on hand. I lent it to someone else.
EDIT2: And their combat uniforms were red. Which is why they were referred to as the "Red Dukes" by House Corrino.
*cough*

I think the problem with the Sync errors has been found, it appears to be early on in the game, the mod creates a complex battle plan that sucks up CPU power, and the people getting the sync errors are using so much CPU power that the PC can't send the info back and forth to keep all the games in sync.
So they've made a hotfix which should optimize the creation of the battle plans, once they test it and have proof it works, they'll be posting it and I'll link it here.

So my net was down friday and I got Gears of War so I went nuts with that. Anyhow, I'm back.
It's cool. I made some time to play yesterday when you should have been on but instead no one was. I hope you had fun.
Sometimes I really wish I had an avatar rotator.
Anyway, the point is that normal AI sucks with the AI mod. What's that about.
You can go and tweak the normal AI in the AI control panel. It probably sucks because I think Normal is set to wait 4 minutes before they can attack. Set it for no wait and see if that helps.
I played a great game of Temple of Change last night as Eldar with Tau and Marines vs Chaos, Orks and Necrons and it was on hard. It was back and forth for an hour and a half until my side all pushed at once and steamrolled the Necrons.
I used it in the campaign as Tau and hit the Necron 7 territory and they kicked my ass without cheap tactics on Normal. Only one base instead of instant uber bases it seems, and instead of swarming they made effective use of their troops.

In your start menu, go to THQ, then Dark Crusade, in there is an AI mod folder with a shortcut to the control panel and to start the game. The panel lets you customize how the AI acts at each difficulty levvel. if we can get it working online I'd suggest hitting reset for each difficulty that you change so it's back a the default.

So, game?
Sure their house colors are green and black but they still use a red hawk insignia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_Atreides

Speaking of Campaign, what happened to that idea?

Be it from the AI mod team or, by some random miracle, relic's patch team.
relic? Patch?
What the hell are you smoking, Goomba?
If they released a patch, the world would end.
Still.
