Dude, if it gives me sync errors when the mod is not and has not been activated then it's nothing to do with a performance bottleneck.
Well, did it ever occur to you that the DLL doesn't play nice with something that could be running in the background on your particular computer, some firewalls verify DLL's. Also, did you try removing the DLL to the desktop after switching back and forth? If that's what you think it is you should have tried that by now. No need to get cross at me when I'm trying to help and you haven't exhausted all your options yet.

Right now you are the only one who has this problem. Make sure you took out all the painter mod parts. There's the painter module, a module called AAAAAAAAA and the folder with the painter files.

Ok, so I just got DC, which might be the most impressive Xpac ever. Dawn of War might be my 2nd or 3rd favorite RTS ever, and DC cemented its position. With that aside I Have a question for you guys, am I missing out on anything besides being able to play IG online by not owning Winter Assault?

Well, there's the campaign, but other than those two things, not really.
This patch adds "adds subtitles to loading screens and in-game movies" and restores multiplayer compatibility between all language editions.

All countries EXCEPT for Russia: If you have changed the version of your .ini file, you MUST change it back. Or re-install. We cannot guarantee you will patch properly now or in the future if you don't. Changing the version only messes things up even if you think it may be working. If you try to patch the game and it doesn't need the patch, it won't install. Do not be alarmed, this is meant to be like this.
