Am I correct in understanding that there is one game and two expansions?
DoW=main
WA & DC = expansions?
It almost looks like DC includes some of the previous content?
Or maybe it just affects multiplayer race options?

DC just adds two races and some changes to the other races. You can play DC without having the original DoW, though.
Really, JJ? Because it takes longer to build a FP that it takes for the NB to kill it. For not being a super unit, it's pretty fucking strong.

Winter Assault is the only expansion - it goes with original Dawn of War.
Dark Crusade is a full standalone game. BUT if you want to play as a race other than Necrons or Tau in multiplayer, you need DoW (for Space Marines, Chaos, Orks, and Eldar) and Winter Assault (for Imperial Guard).

Correct if I'm wrong, but I think singleplayer is still all 7 factions if you don't use the CD Keys.

There is a chart in the OP that you can look at. In simple terms what you buy with DC affects which race you get to play online. Make it easy on yourself and just buy it all.
It is no easy task winning a 1v3. You must jump many a hurdle, bettering three armies, the smallest.

Just DC, I believe, but that doesn't give you access to the SP campaigns found in DoW or WA -- only the DC campaign and skirmish maps. Jedijz is right, though. Go ahead and get all of them. It'll run you about $60 total for the set.

If you only have DC, you can play all the races in the DC singleplayer campaign, but only Tau and Necrons in multi.
Original DoW and WA have their own single player campaigns, though, so even if you're not interested in multi you'll want all three games for the full singleplayer experience.

So I found out why I kept crashing yesterday (and again, sorry about that!) - looks like I had some corrupt texture files. I popped in the disc and repaired the installation and things seem to be copacetic again; I did singleplayer for 4-5 straight hours last night without a hitch.
