But then DA corrected me and said it everyones duty just to survive. So it was my own kinda ambivalence to being a villager, that made your survival seem suspicious

I hardly ever vote for myself in these types of things.
And I will say that while I don't have the particular desire to be the President of this fine country, When things get tough, I do know what to do, and I can be trusted to take the best interests of everybody in mind.
Please, my fellow citizens, This is not the time for indecision.
I might not be your first choice, but I pledge my support to whomever you do decide to vote for. I am merely trying to do the best that I can for our country.
That being said, I cast my ballot for myself, !Ahava.
We have to give Agent Bauer the time that he needs.
The question before those who wish to be candidates or in a position of power is this; if Jack Bauer calls you and requests to torture or kill someone for information, will you agree to it?

While I personally do not hold with the use of torture or murder, these are extreme circumstances.
The government has been destroyed, there is a sickness out there spreading amongst everybody. And if Agent Bauer can stop this, if he can make it even slightly better by slicing off a few fingers, or punching out a few teeth.
Then yes, I will give Agent Bauer the full permission to do what he deems necessary.
I know where Jack Bauer has been. I know what his techniques have wrought. He might be a bit extreme, slightly sociopathic, but this nation would have been destroyed over seven years ago without Jack Bauer.
