lost in the land of Channel 4 fucking around with the order and missing out episodes, so I gave up. Now I'm on LoveFilm I'm getting around to watching them.
I am going to buy some CDs today. What should I buy?
A time machine, so you can join us in the year 2009.
They still sell things on vinyl, if you really want it.
While I don't need my music in that format, I prefer to have the option of playing in as high quality as I like, so none of your digital download shit.

Oh I know they still sell in Vinyl. My uncle buys all vinyl because he says it's higher quality, but he also buys a lot of old Jazz music.
Also, where the fuck are you downloading that gives shitty quality? Both CDs and MP3s are digital mediums. The sound loss difference in a high quality MP3 is minimal, and not audible to most human ears.

The data on a CD is completely uncompressed though and difference in quality is important to a lot of people. Not so much to me, I just like having an original physical copy.

It always makes me sad how bad recording tech was back during the days of say, Frank Sinatra.
Can you imagine how great it would be to hear him recorded on today's technology so it didn't sound like he was singing in a bath tub?
There's a lot of music from that era, and into the 50s and 60s that is terrible quality no matter how much restoration is done to it. It's quite sad that some shitty rapper can have high quality beats and an Elvis song from the 50s sounds like AM radio.

But to hear that difference in quality, you need a powerful sound system. Your standard 2.1 and surround sound (be it 5, 7 or 8) systems will not show you a vast improvement between a CD and a high quality MP3.
There's alot of placebo effect that goes on when it comes to listening/watching something and thinking it looks/sounds better when it really doesn't.

If you need audio higher than 320kb you should be doing something really fucking important with your sounds.
Hell i'd argue 192 if you don't have a killer surround sound system.
Does anyone know how to make an old PS2 not not play God of War II
Depending on the model, I've had success with adjusting the height of the lens.
I think this covers how to do it. Basically you're going to take apart the system and look for that little toothed wheel on the disc drive.
Yeah. That's what I was afraid of. I did that once and my PS2 stopped working. Luckily I had another one that I thought was broken that suddenly began working when the other one stopped working.

This will be fun.
Where have you been, Cesca?

Because acting like a raging prick all the time will eventually get one infractions and jail time.

Are we really going to have this discussion?

I'm due in at 9:00.
My phone rang when I was going to find out the ladies name. Hm.
Uh, you might want to do something about that?
some are better than others but yeah pretty much
I think we had it once.
I guess I should get going soon.
Nexus, answer your PMs.

Can anyone suggest some 50's jazz type stuff? Tom and Jerry sort of music. Miles Davis like. etc.
It really is nice to listen to.

I really need to find a BC PS3.
Yes, that tends to work, especially if it's an old, fat PS2 (not a slim one).
Yeah, wrong choice of words there.
Edit: And chapettes, of course.
Nah, not really. I just wanted to be pedantic.
How did it feel? Did it feel good?
Oh yeah. It's real phat if you know wha i'm sayin
But not nearly as compressed as say a 320kbps mp3.
NO.
I'm not buying a third ps2. It is not an xbawks. I need a PS3.
