Ok, so I have this TV, and while I feel that it was a step down from my previous model, that one kinda just quit working.
Was watching the election night coverage, flipping between various news channels when I press the last channel button and the screen flips to a scrolling test patern and I still hear CNN (the channel I was on). Remote doesn't work, TV buttons don't work. TV only shuts off when I pull the plug, and turns back on when I plug it back in. I tried looking up information on it but the manufacturer's gone and I don't feel like subscribing to a site that's more then likely not going to have the manual I need.
So I bought a new one (it was a year old and the warranty expired anyway).
Now, I have an Insignia 19" 720p (
This one here exactly though I paid about a $100 less),
along with a system selector since I have all 3 systems (
This one specifically) that I've had for 3 TVs now.
Xbox 360 is on Channel 1, PS3 Channel 2, Wii on Channel 3 and PSP on Channel 5 (channels 4 and 6 are empty). Everything is hooked up via Composite Video. X360 and PS3 are set to 720p.
Now here's the problem, if I play the PS3, the top of my screen flickers before blacking out for about a second. This happens very frequently. With the Wii, the channel selection constantly flickers and sometimes there's a blackout, however once inside a game, the situation becomes similar to the PS3. There is no problem with the cable or X360.
Is my TV showing bias towards a specific system?
