    Zaga is an orc warrior.

    She's even got an axe.

The OP says Zaga is an Orcish ARCHER, not the axe-in-your-face type of Warrior.

She's still got four levels in Warrior and carries an axe around.

I think Delroland's bit is done, although it looks more like an abridged statblock than a proper character sheet.

Hey, it's got all the meaty bits. :P

The ogre waited patiently outside the command tent, scanning the surrounding camp. These orcs seemed different than the ones he was used to fighting alongside. They were less violent; in other camps, the time between battles would be passed with infighting over what food and loot had been pillaged. Here, the warriors seemed calm, like the eye of a storm.

His attention was snapped back to the command tent, as he realized the conversation within was coming to an end. "And those are your orders. Spread the word among the warriors; we march at sunrise."

"FOR THE HORDE!" came the answer, followed by several orcs and trolls departing to tend to their own camps. The same voice that had spoken earlier then called out, "I will see you now, ogre."

As commanded, he ducked his head as he moved the entry flap to the side to enter. Upon seeing the orc inside, he fell to one knee. "Lok'tar ogar, Warchief."

Orgrim Doomhammer responded, "Lok'tar. You are Turduk, of the Spirestone clan." The ogre bowed his head in affirmation. "Your command of the Orcish tongue is impressive for one of your kind."

"I find knowing the language of your allies, and of your enemies, comes to great use on the battlefield, Warchief. But my skill with tongues is not why I am here."

Orgrim looked the ogre over in appraisal. "You are perceptive, Turduk of the Spirestone. Tell me, then, why have I called you here?"

"Warchief, you still have the blood of Blackhand on your hammer. Many of my clan are now grumbling, worried that their new Warchief has not the stomach for battle." Orgrim's fist tightened around the hilt of his axe, the creaking of leather audible over the crackling of the fires illuminating the tent. Turduk continued, "I know that in the wilds, a rabid worg may be unmatched in ferocity, but it is as much a liability to its packmates as to its prey. That is why sometimes the strongest in a pack must be put down for the betterment of the whole, and a new packleader must take its place."

Turduk looks up at Orgrim, "Blackhand swore the same oath as any warrior, 'My life for the Horde,' and should his death serve the Horde, then his life should have been gladly given. I only hope to serve with such honor as he."

Doomhammer sits quietly for a moment in thought. "You are dismissed, Turduk of the Spirestone."

"I live to serve, Warchief." Turduk opens the tent flap, departing into the darkness.

Orgrim doesn't trust warlocks or the demonic influence of Mannoroth's blood. I made the assumption that he would assemble warriors that don't have as much of the blood rage as a result.

It may be a bit early for that, though. I can always take that part out.

Doomhammer himself never drank from Mannoroth's blood and he wiped out the Shadow Council, but I don't think there's anything to suggest his Clan - the biggest one in the Horde - is any less influenced.

Did you guys know that in third edition, there was a 2000 gold magic item that added +30 to your jump checks?

I was disappointed to discover that this was no longer the case.

You know, I totally forgot Arc replied to me there.

I still want to get the show on the road, but sounds like there's a bit more to discuss than I remembered.

Next time I'll confirm with the IC thread before I go openin' my mouf.:rotate:

Hmm. How big is this encampment, exactly? Thinking of Fog Cloud- 20 ft radius clouds of fog I can plop down from 150 feet away and last almost an hour each (wind permitting).

But if the camp is too big, this may not work.

It isn't a camp it is a full-on settlement, so a 4 square block would cover up... not much ground at all. Imagine it's a big enough place to fit a hundred and fifty or so soldiers, and walled in.

Wind isn't too terrible in the Badlands, though, so the fog would sit more or less still.
