What kind of XP Product Key is it?

A Sony Vaio desktop computer.
Has a sticker on the rear of the case that says Windows XP Home.
That means OEM, right? If it were retail - it wouldn't have a sticker on the case, and a Sony Vaio would have come with an OEM too, correct?
The reason I ask is that the correct install disc (OEM vs retail vs corp vs volume) has to be used with the right product key, right?
