Mario Kart Wii Disconnections

I've finally gotten my Wii online via wireless router but I keep getting disconnected when i'm on Mario Kart Wii with other people on the WFC. It don't happen when i'm playing my other games, just during Mario Kart. Wouldn't be annoying but it always happens when i'm in 1st place with a sizeable lead due to sheer dumb luck (I learned in my first online race that skill has nothing to do with it) and it's really beginning to annoy me.

Anybody got any idea why this is happening to me?

    About all you can do is grin and bear it- Nintendo keeps away from having to report cheaters- more than likely they don't even think anyone would ever cheat on a Nintendo game.

    I once ran into a guy who spammed blue shells the second the race started. Took us five minutes each damn lap to just make it around Peach Beach.

    Then I'll count my blessings its only disconnections and not blue shell spam. Still sucks though. Meh, spose there's sod all I can do about it. Cheers guys
