Man, the emitter temple place is such a fantastic level. It gives me a really strong Yoshi's Island vibe.

If they patched it down to 3x, that would be sweet. I was playing with my little brother and 2 people without headsets, and it took the strangers like fifteen minutes to understand what needed to be done with the 4x. It was like pulling fucking teeth.

So this is the first game my roommate has obtained on his PS3 that's really go it's hooks into me. It's like digital happiness.

I'm not one for collectathons, but LBP's levels make me want to explore and poke around for every piece of whatever the hell I'm collecting.

It's also gotten really damn hard. We've been co-oping our way through the story mode, but we hit the Russian level with Tesla's wheel of doom and decided we would probably have to tackle it solo to get past it. He beat it yesterday, but I haven't really attempted it again.

I've been having fun picking through user levels. My PSN name is Mean Red Worms, so friend me up if you want to run around. He has it through gamefly so I'm not sure how long it will be around, it almost makes me want to buy it, but I doubt I'll ever own a PS3 of my own.

There just isn't any other games that intrest me on the PS3 that I can't get on my PC.

wow kudos, that level is hell...I haven't really tried to ace it O_O

Mines I'm having trouble with because the level is so frickin long, and I end up jumping and just making one misstep to get hit by one of those spikey dudes. Plus you have to take into account all the times those mine carts don't work exactly as planned

Collector is the other one....it seems pretty easy but something keeps screwing me up where it gets hard to get to the last version of the guy. And I finally did without dying but couldnt kill him before the whole screen was filled with electro balls

The Bunker is honestly not too bad, with the exception of the Wheel of Fuck You at the very end. And even then it's mostly just the outermost layer of the wheel that's hard.

I also aced Boom Town today, which I'm pretty happy about.

So you have to beat levels without dying to 100% them correct? Do you get cool prizes for this?

There's two separate "awards" you can get for each level. 100%ing them is finding every hidden item in the level. Acing them is beating them without dying. You get bonus prizes for doing each of them.

Usually you get some new costume pieces to outfit your Sackperson. I forget if it also throws level-building materials your way (such as frames and backgrounds for that zone's "theme")

You get some cool stuff. Some neon clothes, also there's a gold trophy for doing it all. IMO the worst levels are the Boomtown trio, and the Bunker. Also there's a hell of a mini level in the temples I think. You have to do two laps around this track with some really harsh jumps. I did it all over Christmas when I had some time off work. It can be pretty rough.

I haven't even begun to ace all of the levels yet, but I remember a challenge level with rocket sleds being a bitch in The Wilderness because the sled never worked right and invariably I ended up under it on the lethal track.

Acing gets you Sackperson stuff.

Collecting 100% of the stuff gets you the frames/background/concept and occasionally some other object.

Frozen Tundra gives glowy eyes Speed. I aced everything within a couple weeks of getting LBP because that was higher on my list then making levels :P
No regrets, I love all the costumes that i have

The bunker only took like 3 tries once I was seriously going for it (I'm absolutely calling it the the Wheel of Fuck You from now on)
The mines took around 15. Because even if you get everything right for the first ten minutes of level, the indiana jones bit at the end can't take ONE screw-up.

I've aced every level up to and including Boomtown, and I've also aced the Bunker. Other than that everything is still un-aced.

The Mines pisses me off because like Egos said I invariably make some small mistake and have to replay the whole thing over again.
