Fuck yeah Dreamcast

I got a dreamcast at the flea market yesterday for $5. With a custom case too!

This part was warped and wouldn't let cd's spin so I took it off and now it works fine. I had to splice on a new right audio plug because the one that came with it was bent out of shape.

Also the controller that came with it isn't working right but that's cool DC controllers are cheap

So lets talk about how awesome the Dreamcast is and what games I should get

    You can pretty much play every game ever, that came out for the older systems.

    edit: Dreamcast's are still the best.

    Sonic Adventure, Skies of Arcadia, and Shenmue.

    The ass-poor camera angles are not enough to stop SA from being fun.

    SoA is an excellent RPG with very fun tactic-based ship battles.

    Shenmue is deep as FUCK.

    I liked 2, but Hong Kong wasn't as fun to explore as Yokosuka to me. And the ending to 1 was excellent, while the ending to 2 was a big what-in-the-shit-fuck.

    Power Stone is right at the top of the list, my friend used to have that and it was so much fun

    Jet Grind Radio is probably the first game I'll get (unless I find something else at one of the thrift stores I hit up later today)

    Shenmue also did a really great job getting the archetypal "avenge-your-father" Hong Kong martial arts movie theme to be - almost - realistic. It was still cheesy enough to be fun, but not so cheesy to make the game a joke.

    DYNAMITE COP. The best stupid beat em' up the world has ever known. It's like a really horrible movie you find late at night on TV thats actually so bad that its hilariously awesome. I mean, shit. That whole gun that shoots atom bombs from Fallout 3? Heh, DYNAMIE COP DID IT FIRST.

    was that it was in Japenese with subtitles, the voice acting was better
