So the new season began Sunday/Monday. I hadn't liked the last few seasons but this one so far looks like it's going to pick up at a better pace.

Any thoughts?

    I watched about 40 minutes of it while cooking dinner last night. It looks like they brought the series back down to earth which is nice. Though they might have done that a while ago for all I know. Haven't watched since like halfway through the second season.

    I still don't understand how he got away from the Chinese.

    And I didn't even WATCH that season.

    But if your a prisoner, in China, you are completley fucked.

    i never really liked the show before (only saw bits of a couple episodes and it didn't grab me), but i was flipping channels and landed on this last night about 10 minutes in and ended up watching the whole thing.

    hopefully the rest of the season is as good!

    I like how everyone is really anti CTU now its been disbanded.

    And forgotten how several times, if it wasn't for Jack and CTU, various parts of the united states would look like the wasteland from fallout 3.

    honestly that is a pretty accurate portrayal of real-life politics/government workings

    Jack Bauer didn't escape from the Chinese, he allowed them to imprison him for a time because he felt bad about totally kicking their asses.

    My favorite Jack Bauer moments:

    1: Some other guy empties about 3 clips from an MP5 into a helicopter, and then Jack turns around, fires three shots from his pistol, and the helicopter goes down.

    2: Jack Bauer makes a flash card self-destruct. When it does so, it catches on fire and sparks fly.

    My Favorite Jack Bauer moment's is the entierty of season 1.

    It was like watching a Harrison Ford movie, only it's young Harrison Ford and it's all "WHERE IS MY FAMILY" with sporadic tourture scenes thrown in the middle.
