G5 mouse stuffing up

I think you mean the G5, right? I have the same one. There are firmware upgrades on the logitech site, but be careful, I almost bricked mine when I did it. Also, make sure the accuracy plus/minus buttons aren't jammed up.
But if it really seems to change levels by itself I would first try an uninstall/reinstall with the latest drivers. If that doesn't get it go for a firmware upgrade and pray.
You mean the G5 mouse then? When you say its out of warranty, do you mean the years warranty you'll get from the shop, or the 3 year one with logitech itself? I didn't think the G5's had been out that long.
Try the mouse on a different PC to see if it has the same issues btw.
Can also try it without the setpoint software installed, or do a uninstall of setpoint and a clean reinstall of latest version.
The random DPI switching sounds like a faulty mouse tho, so I'd double check how long you've had it for and see if you can't get it replaced by logitech. Hell, even if you've had it longer than 3 years, phone them up, quote them the serial number, tell them you can't remember when you got it and ask if you can't get it replaced. There's a good chance they'll swap it out for you anyhow.

I couldn't find anything concrete about a G15 Mouse (Keyboard, yes, not Mouse). Is it wireless, and if so have you tried replacing the batteries?
Otherwise, I would just call Logitech and get them to replace it.
