The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Was wondering if anyone had some experience with this.
PLanning on getting a new cell phone provider and have a few questions about taking numbers with you.
1. Can you take a landline phone number to a cell phone? like can our main house line become a cell phone line?
2. Can you have two lines on a family plan that have different area codes? our current cell phones are not the same area code as our house line. assuming we can switch the landline to a cell phone: can my wife take the landline for her cell and I can just keep my current cell number?
if it makes a difference we are likely switching to T-mobile.
The answer to #2 is going to depend a lot on what the area codes are and where you live. Cell carriers are limited in what area codes they offer based on the region they are in (I think it's an anti-trust issue).
