    ok, how about these

    the map isn't made very well (all the physics objects are clumped together, so grenades in that area destroy the server's framerate)

    the map is basically de_dust in terms of possible terrorist strategies (rush one of two directions extremely quickly, or camp)

    but the thing i hate most: there are physics objects and steep ramps and tiny objects to get stuck on everywhere. every other round i seem to get stuck on something.

    Besides, the water is too shallow to allow you to fall in it without taking damage, so the ground bites you if you try to jump down and knife somebody.

    Yeah, the rush divide is what makes me hate it. It's essentially boils down to the luck of who goes where because it's so damn linear.

    chateau lets me do this.

    They didn't really gun you down so much as missile you into a little crater. But this is why you'd spawn on your squad leader, who bravely led from behind cover.

    Anybody remember the San Diego Bloodstar server? Does anyone know if there is another server like that now? That server was awesome, it had the best map cycle, the best admins, and on top of that a really awesome community with mature players.

    It was like the shangrila of CS servers, it was amazing. I could play it all day without so much as a 'LOL NEWB GOT PWNED LOL!'
