I'm using indesign CS4 and when ever I have to change anything: text boxes, selection boxes, images, anything. I have to double click the box to input the change.

This is retarded and I'm laying out a news paper. I need this to change about two hours ago.

not sure. not on cs4 yet. but generally, when adobe cs stuff starts going buggy, dump your prefs.
quit the program, and hold the following while launching:
    Mac: Command+Option+Shift+Control
    Windows: Control+Alt+Shift

I don't think you've clearly explained the problem. I don't really have a clear idea of what you're trying to do, what tools you're using, or what unexpected/undesired result you're getting. Could you please try to explain the issue in more detail?

It would also be helpful to know what OS you're using, where and how you got your copy of CS4 (and what CS4 edition it's part of), and what troubleshooting steps you've taken to remedy the problem.

I'm also kind of wondering why you haven't called Adobe support, they could certainly provide faster and more accurate troubleshooting than we can. CS4 is brand new, so I'm sure you're still in the support period.

Does it happen in anything else? Do you have any other Adobe products, especially, to test?
