I wonder who's more eccentric: The Hagane/Hiryu crews, or the crew of the Nadesico?
Excellen at least got better translations for her puns compared to the Nadesico pilot that gave the ADV translators fits.
The Hagane and Hiryu crews are mostly quirky with a few crazy exceptions. The Nadesico is filled with socially inept, psychotic people with an obsession over a super robot show and sex.
In the meantime, you can check out This Wiki it has some good info on Seishin and Parts and other stuff.

Game arrived for me. Oh man oh man oh man. Is it ever AWESOME. Currently going through OG1.
Also: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm541523 Might have been posted before. Twin Combination Attack supported by another Twin Combination Attack. This hurts my brain just thinking about how it was pulled off.
What, so you have four Twin Attack groups, right? Are the combo attack people in the same groups, or are they mixed up in some weird fashion? Let me explain:
A - Sanger & Kyosuke
B - Ratsel & Excellen
C - Arado & Latooni
D - Seolla & Shine
Or is it simply Sanger/Ratsel in A, Excellen/Kyosuke in B, Arado/Seolla C, and Latooni/Shine in D?
I think it's the mixed group deal. Either way, it blows my fucking mind.
Well I picked up the second game for the Advance yesterday. I've loving it so far. Hopefully it will help me figure out the menu system on the PS2 game.

Furu, you should update the thread title to reflect OGS. Also, think you can add the link to the Akurasu SRW wiki on the main page? Here's the link:
You need to register, which is easy. On the other hand, Nicovideo only allows free accounts to view video content from 2am to 7pm JP time. No idea how to rip Nico stuff so I can't help with that.
Here we go, 27 songs. Keep the link to PA only. I do think it's not against the rules to post this, though I'll take it down if it is.
Is that...is that the vocal theme for Alpha Gaiden?
Yeah, Hagane no Messiah. It's used for one of the final OG2 stages I think.
Any chance you could get a hold of Beowulf and other themes?
The only other themes that I found after I uploaded the archive are Rhada's, The Gate of Magus, Ace Attacker version Alpha and Vanishing Trooper version OG.

playing OG2, can I still get the true ending on normal?
Also, what to I keep from replays? would it be simpler to go through best as I can right now, then go for the masteries and such on the second time through with the stuff from the replay? (this question goes for OG1 too, which I still haven't finished despite having from day of release)

Save the masteries for the second attempt definitely. On each replay, you get all of your earned pilot points from the previous play as well as all of the earned money left over at the end of the game, and that amount continues to stack with each replay, so it's good to burn through normal mode a few times before going into hard mode.
On a side note for your second playthrough of OG2, you can unlock Lamia's second hidden mech and that baby is a beast.

awesome take it this applies in OG1 too? I pretty much stopped playing it because of the whole mastery thing realizing "Shit, I'll never get the real ending at this point... [shelves it and considers it an offering to the OG Localization gods]"
My package finally arrived, though now I get to call UPS and yell at them about why I pay them if I'm going to get my order six days later and completely battered and split open. FedEx from now on, UPS can go to hell for doing that every single time I use them.
On the flipside, artbook get! Which is really strange. Play-Asia said it was based on a first come first serve basis, yet people who pre-ordered months in advance got nothing and were relegated to the second shipment batch and I get to the skip the line. Not that I mind ;-)

You aren't really missing much, the secret stage/ending of OG1 is..... weird to say the least.

Yeah. Watching videos of the Twin Battle System being exploited is fun and all, but it's a whole 'nother story when you do it yourself. I just pwned the shit out of Galuin in OG1 with a combo R-Formation and Rampage Ghost.
15k for R-Formation.
12k for Rampage Ghost.
This is ignoring the last three digits. VERY nice. OG2 is going to be pretty fun when I get to somehow do double the amount of attacks in one go.
Anyone played the PSP version of SRT? Any opinions?

MX Portable? It's the easiest one of them all, and it's SO goddamn slow even I couldn't believe it after I got back to it a couple weeks ago during vacation. Still a fun game.

I heard the load times were bad but I thought they increased the difficulty for the PSP version?

Don't see how the hell load times would do such a thing.

I still haven't touched OG2 since within three weeks of it coming out.
I made the stupid mistake of going for BMs right off the bat. Six BMs in, and the seventh battle is a slaughter.

The Hagane's got nothin' on that, even if it has both the SRX and ATX teams, Masaki + Lune, and others aboard at the same time.
ARRRRRGH
How do I work this shit
Or could someone put it on Youtube

There will probably be more once the game has been out more than a week.

SRX Team performing the Gespenst Kick.
Here are two more, not quite as impressive but still funny.

Arado is the only one who actually pronounces Gespent right...
Latooni doing a Ruysei is also pretty awesome.
"Let's do like Ryusei..."
"ULTIMATE GHOST ATTACK!"
I wish Giado was still around, I'd like to see him do it.
