You'd have issues with the TE's. They have to be kept apart or they heal.

Skeram's MC would cause problems. The trio is iffy, but probably duoable. Sartura and Fankriss would be hard, but probably doable. Huhuran...ugh. Emps probably impossible.

Molten core: Trash is soloable if you can reliably heal yourself. Very very slow going on my Holy Paladin, but is doable. Bosses with Curse/healing debuff mechanics require someone that can remove them. Ghennas(SP?)'s curse can still kill you, simply because it's a huge(75% or more) healing reduction, and he still hits decently enough that you won't kill him before he kills you. Sulfuron the Harbringer and his 4 adds require more than 2 people. You have to be able to still drag one add away and kill it at a time. They will all still heal, and will do so frequently enough that you're not killing them without interrupting. Golemagg and his puppies are quite capable of rocking you, because the fire debuff and puppy bites stack up enough to still be a lethal combo. Bottom line, have 2-manned up to Sulf/Major Domo. With the patch change, I'd like to see if Ragnaros is up all by himself, or if Major Domo is still required to be defeated. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

AQ40: Same as MC. Boss mechanics are still going to mess up most solo attempts. Consider parties of 5-7 people, and you should be fine.

AQ20: DK can solo the whole thing. (Whole thing being bosses in the way of a direct path, and including Ossirian.)

You can run Sulfuron's adds oom, and you can reset the debuff on Golemagg. I also read somewhere that you can solo Skeram, though it would probably be harder with 2 people.

I thought he casts BA every 15 seconds with ever third cast targeting the tank.

I'd say it's unlikely that you could solo Skeram, since he teleports and then starts Earthshocking you for 2k every second until you get in melee range. Those teleports are a hike, too.

Edit - Apparently there's a video of someone doing it, but it's still extremely, extremely difficult.

Nah. I think I'm about MMO'd out for now. I'm embracing strange, new and exciting things like mythical other games, and have put a lot of time into various Steam pursuits like Mass Effect, Defense Grid, and a wide variety of TV on DVD.

Which isn't to say I'll never be back, but my chosen class getting the short end of a number of sticks (combined with my step down to Member in my guild) meant that it really wasn't that hard a choice.

I mean, there'll always be more rogues/dps. Assuming raids still need rogues. ... or dps.

this is sooper true. I started leveling my 70 rogue again last night.

We have ONE rogue in out raid group. He got pissy the other night because most of the naxx drops were plate caster gear. ONE F'ING ROGUE. no hunters either. Anything drops with AGI and it's his. boggles my mind how he could complain. though...he is quite the annoying rogue.

    There are reasons for this.

And last I saw from the forums, even the developers admit that Rogues still need pretty significant work.

Whatever, it's irrelavent. I came by to say Hi and ended up giving a point of view on content. Whether rogues are gimped or 'rape on a stick' doesn't matter much to me if I'm not able (nor inclined) to log into mine.

Easier to make holy use attack power. Or completely merge spell power and attack power, like they did with hit and spell hit.

Also, am I the only one annoyed at seeing beast form attack power on every freaking weapon? Yeah, I really need to know that my healing mace adds 900 attack power in cat form...

The problem is that they hear something and never spend the time to see if it's actually true. And I admit that some mechanics are really weird like the 5SR. All you can do is offer to teach. Unfortunately, most people seem to be lacking in tacit and understanding that the written word doesn't convey emotional nuance as well as speaking does.

So you get the situation of the person trying to teach, the other person getting frustrated because the teacher is comming off as an ass....and thus the cycle continues.
