Apparently 22nd time is the charm, *finally* got Annhylde's Ring from Heroic UK for my Mage.
Mark of the War Prisoner still evades me however. God I hate the ret pally that outrolled me on it the first time it dropped...
On the subject of my H UK run though... had a DK tanking who was pretty good, the other DPS was rather mediocre and the healer was rather bothersome. In the beginning he was lagging and got the tank killed a couple times. After one of the wipes (well, they wiped, I went Invis), I decided to Armory the Resto Druid. He had the *strangest* set of Resto gear I'd seen in recent memory, including two random Black Temple pieces, but mostly just green and blue quest rewards... from where I'm not sure, but with not a single thing enchanted, he had a total of 1001 healing power.
We had quite a few random deaths that never should've happened, but we got through the instance ok I suppose.
I think my favorite was the passageway right after the first boss, the mine type area with the undead and the overseers? Tank had just went up that little stairway/ramp to get the Overseer and ghouls from there, Resto Druid got the first Overseer charge/stun... by the time that was off, tank was dead.
The Tauren DK with 27k HP was dead in one stun.
I wanted to say, 'No, he was dead because you didn't heal him at all *before* you got stunned, and as a Druid shouldn't you have like 5 HoTs on him all the time *anyway*?'
Wondered where my guild leader(a hunter) got a staff with AP/agi/crit from.
The ex-feral staves are still best for druids, but now the Naxx polearms start popping up as 6th/7th best weapons available, so they're totally viable for druids until a staff drops.

Is there any backstory to the boat on the mountain slightly NW of Wintergarde Keep? It seems like one of those things begging for a story, I'm thinking a dwarf rambling about 40 days of rain and how he needs to have an escape plan.

Isn't a nunnery pretty much the complete opposite of a whore house?
edit: Okay, so apparently "a nunnery" was common Elizabethian slang for a brothel. Learn something new each day. This'll come in handy in case I ever end up travelling back in time to that particular time period.

edit: Okay, so apparently "a nunnery" was common Elizabethian slang for a brothel. Learn something new each day. This'll come in handy in case I ever end up travelling back in time to that particular time period.
Correct. It wasn't as common a practice in England, but the Italians made it (along with everything else) into an art form. You'll also find it popping up with Elizabethan references to lesbianism as well. And while Shakespeare's intent with that line is debatable, I've always preferred the whorehouse usage, if only because it makes Ophelia's suicide a little more tragic.
I read them and they're done well enough to get dumb people on board, but people who know anything about the game can tell they're fake. For example: "Mage: Focus Magic will now properly trigger from melee critical strikes" or "Exotic pets can no longer be dodged or parried." or "Shapeshifting no longer costs mana, but there is now a 3 second cooldown."
If the tank went from 27k to zero in three seconds, what you are looking at can't properly be called a healer problem.
That's just it, the tank *didn't* go from 27k to 0 in 3 seconds. The tank started the pull, rounded up the mobs, getting beat on for a while, receiving no heals, then the healer got charged (presumably when he was about to start *thinking* about throwing a heal), the tank got finished off in between when the stun wore off and before the end of whatever casttime spell the druid started throwing.
Hell, for that matter I don't actually know that the tank was at full health before the next pull started. Which is still on the underpowered Resto Druid.

It's a known issue. Until Blizzard fixes it, they advise you to not try and launch wow through Steam.
Black Temple, on the south side of the entrance, in the demon hunter area. There's a big banished Pit Lord. You can wail on him for skill ups.

Dire Maul is nice because you can safely afk for as long as you don't get logged out.
