That seems like it would work okay to me. It fits the model of having a progression path for both 10-man and 25-man raiders. Of course, this assumes that they'll be correcting it so that the 25-man is harder than the 10-man to account for the 25-man having the better gear.
This is exactly what they said back in the day. Nax 25 gear is equivilent to Ulduar 10 gear. They said that back when they revealed the whole 10-man/25-man setup.
I figure I should probably make my dual spec holy since you can change inside instances and this is probably going to be expected flexibility. This means I will continue to stack up gold spent swapping between ret pvp and ret pve. Already like ~1800g spent or something like that. Today I specced PvP for arenas and fucked up my points and had to drop another 50. Ohh yeah.
I mean, as a whole, considering the relatively cheap cost of respeccing at 80, I'd say the problem was quite a bit more significant while levelling, than at 80.

Druids kinda suck at tanking alot while leveling, and I can't heal worth a damn off-spec, especically since it was a fresh 70 when WOTLK came out. And No one want's feral DPS, no matter how good it's gotten.
This patch would have got my Druid to 80 if DualsTHE ICE STONE IS MELTING!

I completley messed up my edit, my bad.
My Druid was a fresh 70 with no T anything gear, getting upgrades while levelin in Northrend.
Since I was at the appropriate gear level for most instances, while everyone and their grandma's were overgeared I got hit a SHITTON harder then Druids in Merc PvP gear/T5/T6 and whatever.
Combine that with the lack of armor compared to other classes and well I was getting my shit pushed in if I didn't have an overgeared healer/esponsible instance partners.
In MY case, respeccing Resto would have been definatley appropriate.
Well there's always exceptions, but I think we were talking mostly about pugging stuff
I wouldn't say the problem was mostly with the tanks either, it was with trigger happy DPS, mostly AOErs.
Like aoe mage pullers? Oh I loved those guys "Here let me open that big pull with a blizzard, then I'll cone of cold and blink run around the whole time using arcane explosion screaming take it off me."
I was always impressed by the ones who could both run around in circles AND type out messages demanding the tank save them. If only they could channel that kind of talent for good.
This is where City of Heroes/Villains wins out.
The AoE Blasters know that there job is to alpha-strike the mob and then faceplant, and most do it without complaint.

So is there a reason that lately, WSG drops my FPS like a brick?
I haven't had trouble anywhere else (not even Alterac Valley with 80 dudes on the screen), but I get into a 2v2 fight in Warsong Gulch, and my FPS drops to <2fps. What is goin' on?
Because him and Kalaran/Furor/whatever the hell he's calling himself these days prefer hard core raiding and because they're elitist snobs who look down their noses at everybody who's not like them. They prefer the Everquest mentality of MMOGs(ie....long, drawn out and extremely punitive games). They enjoy molten core type content and wouldn't know how to design a good game even if god gave them the Dummies Handbook on how to do it.

So something interesting I found out while trying to find the rare books in dalaran. In-game, when you're on the main floor in the Legerdemain Lounge, it is spelled Legerdemain, but as soon as you go to the second floor, it changes to Ledgerdemain Lounge. I remember you guys talking about that in the thread (I think it was this one).

Ya you're right. I probably shouldn't throw stones since I've never met the guy and have no real idea what he does at his job. They both seemed to pretty enthusiastically endorse EQ's style of play and it's not my cup of tea. I'll just leave it at that.

Because he's been responsible for a hell of a lot of the bad decisions. He's the stubborn fuck they were referring to when they said "The lead designer doesn't want X." He's the reason why hybrids sucked shit. Molten Core was his brainchild. Whenever he came to the masses to defend a design choice, it was almost always one of his terrible pet designs that he was defending.

For those interested, apparently the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44957 Greater inscription of the gladiator is working on heirloom shoulders. It's supposed to be fixed soon, so do it while you can. Since nothing else but the ZG exalted enchants work, It may be worth it.
Tigole once came to my house, shot my mom, fucked my dog, and spit on my new shoes. He then told me he was nurffing my shaman to the ground and taking all his gold and giving it to classes who deserve it.
while I was doing the valentines achievements earlier, there was a troll rogue stealthing in circles around the dalaran streets, he was clearly having a fun time with it.
after like 10-15 minutes of not finding an undead warrior though, I switched to my horde alt to look for one. There were six on the entire server. only one was lvl80, and he was off in outland somewhere. this is on a high-pop server that was open on day 1.
