Prot paladins are just unkillable in pvp. Back at 70 I used to do WSG preforms and run the flag on my pally. Horde would be lucky to get me below 10k health, I was pretty bad-ass.
And one time waiting for SSC to start me and the warrior MT had a duel. It lasted about 10 minutes.

Our 25 man pally tank barely beat me in a duel, so I don't think so. Plus, I was already worn out after dueling a gladiator geared resto shaman for like 15 minutes. Thats how long it took to hit him with a hammer before he could put up a grounding totem, but after my repentance had taken out his last one.
Tanks are unkillable if there's melee attacking them, sure, but spell damage goes right through.

Any sort of tank usually makes the best flag carrier.
Prot paladins that happened to go after pursuit of justice as part of a PvP build were the best flag runners.

The last AV I was in, I had joined late and was trying to join the main offensive when I was jumped by two DKs and a rogue near Balinda. By the time it was all said and done both DKs had died twice (alliance still had SHGY, and both were racing back from the graveyard to try to get in on my HK), and the only reason the rogue lived was I had forgotten to switch to ret aura after he had vanished at 1k health. I had under 5k health left, he came back in with a stunlock combo and both trinket and bubble were on cooldown. Had I had ret aura up I would have been able to walk away from that.
Happy: Got a couple of Achievements last night in 25 naxx (The safety dance, Spore Loser, Make quick werk of him, and And They All Go Down Together). Plus I won the roll (finally) for the quest drop off Kel. In a couple weeks we gonna try for The Immortal.
Hope: 3 Drakes tonight.

Happy: I got the 8 man sarth achievement, and 8 man credit for half of naxx yesterday, because 2 people didn't show up for the run. We'd have gone for all of naxx except that one of the people who didn't show up was our tank, and only one offtank had full prot gear.
Happy: Got Arachnophobia last night. That was fun just for the sheer enjoyment of watching/listening to everyone hauling ass through Spider Wing.
Grumble: Could not kill Saph for whatever reason, though every attempt would be: me run away for Deep Breath, not get healed waiting for Deep Breath, then me having to run bakc in to tank with <50% health, and for some fuckall reason still not getting a heal until about 20% health.
Thank god for my 30second potion during that.

Yes they are silly that way, but some people (read: the healer that won it) would of thrown such a hissy fit over minor things and we were having such a good night. I am patient, and it will be mine.
Mind Boggle: Moonkin guildie with +16 AP and +8 Hit gem to match a yellow slot for +9 sp bonus.
FUCK YEAH!: Guild progression in Naxx10, we finally got over the Grobby Hump and proceeded to 2shot Gluth and then 2shot Thaddius! We 1shot all of Military and Spider too! In addition I finally got an upgrade with T7 shoulders
Slightly Meh: We all have jobs and responsibilities so we couldn't finish up Plague wing because we all needed to get to sleep.
Hope: That we will be able to do it all again next week and see Saph and KT!
Amusement: My brother and his gf have transferred off EU Ragnaros (PvP server) because they keep getting ganked and corpse-camped.
I don't get ganked or corpse-camped at all. The last time i did was over a titanium node some 3 weeks ago, which as you can imagine was totally understandable (was actually an escalating skirmish towards the end of about 5 on each side ).
And do you know why they get corpse-camped? The two characters they use are named...

Actually, I've had that happen to me, too. But I was in Dunholde (finishing it up so I could do Black Morass for Elixer Mastery) and the instance servers took a dump. Couldn't log back in, so I had to have a GM move me out. It was odd, though, that they moved me just outside of Ironforge.

If you're on a moving vehicle and have a knockback/pull towards used on you, you go crazy insane. I've seen it confirmed with Thunderstorm and Death Grip, no idea on the other two.

Happy: Finally hit 440 LWing, and the last 5 points took 5 Frozen Orbs on a Yellow Skill that graciously gave me 5 skillups (probably because I threatened it with murder if it forced me to shell out another 100g for an Orb).
Hate: The two patterns I want are for level 80, and I'm just 20% into 79.
Upcoming Happy: Said patterns will give me +50-70 spell damage and +130 spell crit rating. Having seen my crit rating drop steadily because nothing in fucking Northrend has anything but olololhaste, this should get me, I hope, at least 2-3% and back into 20% base crit without buffs. Maybe. If I'm lucky. Probably more like 19% just to piss me off in not getting above my comfort threshold.

Khaaaannnnnnnnnnn!!!!! Ten man Naxx going well, til we hit the safety dance. Our healers are so damn locked into grid that they die repeatedly during the dance. Two hours of wipes later, we finally down the bastard once people pulled their heads out their asses. Most frustrating two hours ever, MUST CHOKE KITTENS.
Heh. I find that my performance on Heigan is directly proportional to other people's, because if they get hit, I get distracted wanting to heal them, when really I should just let them die and not risk my own life, because we certainly don't need all 10/25 people to finish the fight unless we're trying for Undying or something. The less everyone ELSE gets hit, the less your healers will be distracted by Grid.
Well I did it for the first time last week, died towards the end of the first one. And they one shot the boss, so I never got another chance to try. So I figure it'll probably happen again next week.
The key is not to watch the other people. Make a mental note of the zones and just make sure you're in them. It's better to be a little bit ahead of the bursts than it is to be behind.
Hate: That I missed out on the Beast Naxx goodtimes last night.
Also Hate: That my girlfriend is being a complete and total bitch, and apparently dedicating one night to playing a game is just too much for her to handle. And even the mention of a computer game immediately sets her off and starts a huge argument. Hilariously, if I were sitting on my ass in front of a TV, it wouldn't be a problem, BUT A GAME OH MY GOD YOU FUCKING NERD LOSER WHAT THE FUCK GET A LIFE ASSHOLE JESUS CHRIST YOU ARE A DORK YOU CHOOSE A VIDEO GAME OVER ME!
