The Mime Boss

What is the best way to defeat the head Mime that's on the same street as your destroyed house. It took me quite a while to defeat him cos he kept reducing my teams attack to 0 and I'd run out of items to get it back up. I ended up using my support characters mostly and then when he was down to about 150hp I just used the team to hit him for up to 15hp a piece till he died.

Was there a better way I could have approached this??

Well, you have to perfect your block to avoid having your attack down. The final boss will also have the ability to lower your attack if you can't block or block it half-way.

One way I do it is to lower his defense, so that even your character has his attack lowered, you still can do decent damages on him (don't count on it though). Then, concentrate on one character to use your attack power-up items on him, obviously preferable Gabe, since he has the fastest speed, but your character also works well if you plan to use 2 characters against him. If you want to include Tycho in the action, use the speed power-ups on him.

You should be done with the battle by now... if not...

Speed down the boss. Use up all the attack/ speed power-up items. Then use defense up for your characters. This should work in any kind of boss fight, with the exception of the final boss where you decrease his attacks first.

But seriously, if you can't finish the Mime boss after you use up all your attack power-ups, then you should be working on your blocking before facing him.

The Mime boss' attacks is not significantly high by the way, but if lowering his attacks makes you feel more comfortable, definitely go ahead and try it.

I thought you were talking about the super giant-octopus-mime on the board walk.
