    I have no idea what the hell I'm doing, I played my first game and got slaughtered. Also for some reason my 170 dollar mic doesn't want to work on this game..

    I wanted to do ranked 1v1s tonight but I keep coming up against rank 1s who probably just got the beta and I feel really bad when I crush them absolutely.

    I see bunches of sync kills, which is probably a bad thing, seeing as I should be paying more attention to tactical situations.

    But damn they look cool.

    But yeah, pub stomping was fun at first, now I just feel sick.

    see, ive done this. it refuses to recognize my microphone at all

    I just have 5 or 6 options of "Creative Audigy Process" and none of them work :(

    Okay, replay posted. Can anyone tell me how I could have done better? I know I made some mistakes with Mek, Dreds, and power. Stikkbommas for longest squad life in game so far for me, like ~25 mins.

    Hehe, I still don't know how that guy lost to me. I mean, Rank 25 is pretty high up there, right?

    Just started playing the beta, and man, I'm loving the Orkz. The Nob Squad is utterly devastating once it's been upgraded, but damn is it expensive. Does anyone have any experience with the other Orky T3 stuff? I saw a teammate use Kommandos and they seemed to have pretty decent ranged damage, but they looked a bit fragile, and when I bought a Looted Tank it died in a couple hits from some Tac Marine missiles.

    Also, noob question, can any commander revive a friendly commander? Or only certain ones?

    Just right click on the hero that's writhing all around.

    As a bonus you get a boatload of experience from it, often enough to level.

    Yeah, was doing some 3v3 earlier with PA guys... the first few pub stomps were fun.. but after a while we just starting trying to field stupid crap and were letting the enemy take things just to make the matches a bit more fun. I felt bad :(

    so this game wont run at all. i installed it through steam, and when i try to launch it the "preparing to launch" dialog pops up and then immediately disappears and nothing else happens.

    i guess i'll mess with it tomorrow.

    Stupid question, but is it installing Windows Live and you're just not realizing it?

    I just watched your game against the level 25. It was really nice, and I was overall impressed. The Deff Dread didn't really help anything.. maybe next time push harder for T3 for a tank or a War Trukk. Overall, very good job. Work on not idling so much though.

    Man. Every game I've tried to play I've been kicked out of because of Games for Windows Live, it's crashed on start up or it's crashed before the game ends.

    Sigh.

    Edit: And man, if it hasn't been said already, the skirmish AI is the worst AI I've seen in an RTS for a looooong time.

    no, its not installing anything. or running anything. or doing anything besides popping up that dialog which immediately disappears. no processes start up or anything. it just doesnt do anything, is the thing.

    it would appear to be the top critical issue in this Master Confirmed Technical Issue List on the official forum, even

    Thanks! Yeah, I'm still getting the hang of microing so much stuff at once. I think it was my good start that helped cancel out the not so great mid to end game, so I definitely have to work on that. After playing Tyranids the whole week, Orks felt really good. Sometimes I'm just not sure what to do when I've grabbed most of the points - I think taking out his power would have been a good move.

    Yeah. You didn't harass his power spot at all. An easy way to know if he's set up is just look into the fog at power points. If there are craters in the ground that means that generators have been spawned.

    Indeed. If they were going to put so little effort into it they should have just left it out. I don't think i've ever seen worse
