I don't really see how those last 2 games make me more/less qualified to discuss balance or depth than anyone else, though. Actually it just makes me wonder at how much time I spend playing video games that I could play 80+ games over a 1 week period

I think that Trueskill thing is starting to work... played a bunch of ranked 3v3 with wickedkarma and woggle and nearly every match was hard fought and fun, only got lopsided when someone crashed or left.
maybe its just that its been out a couple days, so youre facing less numbers of people who are playing the game literally for the first or second time.
I think my favorite piece of voice acting/sound in the entire game is when you tell the Deff Dread to attack and the pilot (who sounds like he's inside a washing machine to begin with) gives you this incredibly stoned "waaaaagh...".
But I'd trade it all just to hear "They call me Stompy!" one more time.

It's not like there's a ban against Morrowind threads, just that that shit was literally necroposted back to the top of the thread index from March of last year.
maybe its just that its been out a couple days, so youre facing less numbers of people who are playing the game literally for the first or second time.
that's the thing about true skill, is it takes a few weeks for the system to sort itself out.

Okay I played against the cpu a few times to try out all the armies different units. Seems pretty fun although at the moment I'm waaay too slow to be good at this.

So, It turns out that three dreds with the Dark age of tech upgrade and a tech marine spamming Blessing of the Omnisiah can assault 3 players worth of army. In their base. And win. Without losses.
