I remember there was a Best Buy promotion for the re-issued Ten where if you pre-ordered it, you would receive codes for three songs. I believe they were a live version of Alive, State of Love and Trust, and Brother. If those are anything like the same Disturbed promotion back in June, they'll be available on Xbox Live, probably separate from the album.
They will also probably screw up their promotion like they did with the Disturbed tracks and not actually send out those codes.
I pre-ordered this and am very curious as to how I'm going to receive my code/songs. Amazon claims I will have it on the 24th, so we'll see what's what.
Also, how do we know for sure it's PJ? Did I miss an announcement?

We can only hope a Rock Band tie-in is something in the works.

Like, doesn't even laugh or give a sideways glance. All I know is that "You All Everybody" does not exist as a complete track anywhere, so there's no way to get it in Rock Band, iTunes, anything because it's just a snippet used for the show.
There is an actual, full length, totally legit Geronimo Jackson song coming to iTunes very soon. What time period it was recorded in may make it easier to track in Rock Band. Do not lose hope!

Really? I've only ever been able to find a version that fades out into the 2nd chorus, like 45 seconds long. It's "Rock and Roll Star" by Oasis anyways, so it kinda is in RB.

Rock Band 2 is quite good. good enough for me to be frustrated that i am within the 30 day return policy for guitar hero and will not return it because the WT instruments are compatible with rock band....but not vice versa EDIT: On the Wii. otherwise i would want the bulk of my moneys going to Harmonix on this one.

I thought we'd established that RB stuff worked with GH:WT. Or are you just referring to how WT modifies the drum track to 'fit' the RB kits?
RB stuff absolutely works with GHWT. I've done it. The only issue I had was a third-party RB pedal that wouldn't work with GHWT, but all the official stuff works across each other - on 360, at least.

Don't get me wrong; I really don't care about Last Resort and probably wasn't going to buy it anyway and really don't give a shit about what the Rock Band forums think either way, buuuuut...
I've heard Last Resort on my regular radio station for years now. After hearing the Rock Band version on YouTube, the vocals sound so different and less...punchy than the original recording, almost to the point where it literally sounds like a cover version I might find on Rock Revolution. I can totally see why someone would be turned off.
In fact...I don't think it sounds a whle lot different from the cover in Rock Revolution.
Honestly, if you didn't tell me that was a cover, I would have thought it was a master.
Also, that guitar chart is pretty close to the Rock Band one.

Apparently* it turns out this version of Last Resort is supposed to be a demo version that was used by the label to sign them. hmxsean popped in to mention that they would look into the issue for whatever good that is supposed to mean.
*I say apparently because it's an internet forum post by somebody who claims to know at least one member of the band somehow... So yeah. But the possibility of it being a demo anyway makes some sense considering the differences are more than just the vocals.
