If they have already been nominated ignore them but here's my picks:
Captain Cold
Gentleman Ghost
Annihilus(Not Annihilation "Kill Everything levels of power", normal in the normal universe Annihilus)
Doom has collected all the names. When the tournament is ready to commence, a new thread will be made.
Also, clarification on external equipment: something like luthor's battlesuit is considered his equipment. that is allowed. What is not allowed is "borrowing" something from a character's universe. Call it the Vorpal Sword rule, if you like. Doom is not fooling around. Doom wants fights, not loopholes. Kingpin is an expert martial artist and marksman, so he will not be forced out of play so easily. Also, there are surprises in store for this tournament, for in Doomstadt, nothing is what it seems.
Hmm, I'm sad I missed nominations, but I didn't really have anything else to nominate that wasn't said already. Maybe the chainsaw guy or midnight bomber from the tick, or spidergod from Scud. They probably wouldn't have gotten far, though.
Please note, Doom is only selecting 32 participants. The matches will be one on one. The matches will take place in Doomstadt, in a room similar to the one that bald fool uses to train his mutant scum. Doom will decide the setting for each battle. No external equipment (nobody gets a magic sword here unless they use it ALL THE TIME) shall be allowed, and any fighter that uses standard weapons such as Deathstroke will be assigned a weapons loadout prior to their match.
Only 32? seems like a small pool with this many entrants.
Doom is not interested in a 4 month long debacle like the hero tournament. Doom wants to see action. Doom may consider doubling the size depending on the nominees.
I'd be for doubling it to 64, according to the count on page 6, we had 149 as of Scooter's post there.

Yea, really, if we're only doing 32, then I'd feel like we'd need to do another one after this. Cause there's a ton of cool fights here waiting to happen. I don't think I'd have any problem running a months-long one after this if it came down to it.
Thirty-two different combatants in a series of one on one fights results in just as many total fights as we had for the superhero tournament.
One on one fights may result in less debate, though, especially if any of the fights are something like Doom versus the Penguin.
So either do your best to make sure everyone's on similar power levels or boost the participants a little beyond thirty-two.
Maybe we could have 48 combatants in 1 on 1 bouts and then end with a 3 person battle royale? Or would ending with anything but a 1 on 1 fight go against Doom's ultimate plans?

Doom's ultimate plans are to destroy Richards and rule the world.
The real question is: how does this tournament further those plans?
Regardless, I'll probably debate like a gibbering idiot twice as hard for any of my own nominations (and Ultron) that make it through to the actual contest.

Well then, I nominate Xorn, the inhuman Maximus and Stilt-Man.
I've been toying with the idea for a while now
I think I'm going to nominate Rat King (TMNT villian)

Your heart is as cold as your steely exterior.
Hughtron will be thrilled.
Ooh, Ratcatcher. I love that guy.
*William Shatner makes a guest appearence*
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!
[spoiler:e74271a2ec]Also, I'm pretty sure Son of Beyonder was the one that typed in all caps.[/spoiler:e74271a2ec]
Proteus has a glaring weakness (metal) so he is allowed. As is Noh-Varr.

I hear the summers are lovely and, hey, robotic police force!
And I just noticed Noh-Varr's package.
Best day ever!
