Free DVD writing Software

Sorry if this is in another thread, Search doesn't work for me. No matter what I put in Search it tells me it's less then 4 words.

But I am looking for good free DVD writing software. Not burning movies, but backing up files. I have 1.7gigs of pictures that'd I love to toss on my DVDs, but I lost my Nero key long ago and don't want to pay for it again.

Thanks! And virus free is a Huge plus. I downloaded, I think it was called Free Burner or something, and it came with a worm, which promptly got uninstalled and cleaned.

    I have been using CDBurnerXP for a while now. Works pretty well and does CD and DVD

    if you're using XP or Vista, just drag the files into the DVD-RW symbol... windows OSs have a basic burning utility built in

    In XP that only works for CDs not DVDs unless they changed it recently. Not sure on Vista
